Holy shit, you cannot let go of the Weber game. They just got rolled by Stephen F. Austin, and lost by double digits to Sacramento State. Are ANY of those teams even in NDSU's ballpark? Hell, NDSU's subdivision? No.
Weber State sucks.
Montana is pretty good.
NDSU is awesome.
End of story.

Your Defense gave up around 450 yards to the 19th ranked offense in FCS and 256 to the 11th ranked rushing defense. Both those are right at their average. SO GENIUS that makes you average.Ibanez wrote:Grizalltheway wrote:

Did your defense get you off the field? How many times did they score in the red zone, GENIUS?
You, #14 in rushing, had 68 yards on the ground, and average 245
Can't help you with total offense as you aren't even in the top 50.
Holding them to field goals, gives the perception that this was an amazing effort. Go ahead and pat yourself on the back for being just like Weber State if it makes you feel good.

The last time a team held them to 22 or fewer points at home was October 2012. A loss is a loss, but only a Griz hater masquerading as a Griz fan would be stupid enough not to recognize that as a respectable defensive effort.Robsnotes4u wrote:Your Defense gave up around 450 yards to the 19th ranked offense in FCS and 256 to the 11th ranked rushing defense. Quit being babies, and grow up. Your stats aren't better than Weber because you are the Griz. How many common opponents have the Griz and Weber had THIS year? One. So people can't compare them?
Do you think after Oct 4, the UND/Griz game, which if you are going come see me, that you guys will not be comparing the MSU/UND game from this weekend to that? You know you will. But that will be ok. Hmm, do you think professional compare that stuff? I wonder if coaches every look at game tapes of common opponents.
If you held anyone to 68 yards rushing, when all you here is "we have the talent" you would be bragging up a storm. YOU gave up 258 yards rushing and you say you have a great rush defense. JJ went 15/29 for 188 yards, 72 on one play.
If the roles were reversed You would be hoot and hollering we are the best we held the offense to 68 yards rushing and 188 yards passing. They got lucky on th 72 yard pass, in fact, it was an incompletion. Guaranteed.
Do you know how many games NDSU plays that are the same way? Not a fan of NDSU but they do it week in and week out.
I will say it another way, maybe you will understand. You don't have to be knocked out to be dominated.
Ever watched a baseball game where one team had 6 or 7 hits, but only had one run, and their pitcher threw a no hitter. Score is 1-0. Were they dominated?

No, we're all calling you an idiot, because you're an idiot.Robsnotes4u wrote:What is wrong with you people. Facts hurt. They are comparisons. You can do it and it is ok, but when it is against you, then you flip out.
1 - You can't even keep the plays straight. It was pretty irrefutable that Henderson caught the other long pass that happened though. Get your vision checked.
2 - Sine you cannot let the f#ck go of the Weber game, go check the Iowa State-NDSU box score. Same shit yardage-wise (worse actually), yet you don't see us trying to use the transitive property to say we're as good as Iowa State. BECAUSE. ONLY. AN. IDIOT. WOULD. DO. THAT.
3 - You keep going on and on about how the yardage. NDSU dominated in that facet, which isn't a surprise when the offense was as ineffective as it was and the defense had to spend the entire time out on the field. But they never wilted, they played to the last whistle. You know how many teams would of just laid down and died after the first quarter? Most teams. That's why NDSU destroys everyone (else) they play (especially at home, and especially in the playoffs). And why teams like UND routinely lose by 30-40. No heart.
4 - Stop acting like you're some sort of unbiased Griz fan. You're a Sioux/Cat fan who has shown disdain for us and especially our fanbase since the first day you crawled out from under a rock last year.

1. NO shit. You guys see shit that isn't there. Did I once say I was talking about a Henderson catch? Point proven just like all the holding things you don't see. Jones caught the 72 yard. Easy to catch you guys. lol
THere we go, compare the ISU game. You can do it but nobody else. Proven again.
You may step down, the bailiff will handle you from here.
What a joke.
Btw, Don't like the NDSU, but i have to love the football accomplishments.
Like the Griz also, just the "fans" are people with a chip on their shoulder. Get over it, and have fun watching games. You need to "Real Eyes" the reality.`
When you understand how the mind works, it is easy to lead people, and get them too see things that aren't even there. Your mind puts in things you want to see, kind of fill in the blanks. You, are like an easy Psych experiment. Didn't take long to get you to go where I wanted to.
Thanks for playing the game. We can play again sometime if you like. It is always better judgement to read something with an open mind, otherwise you get caught. A good lawyer knows the answer before he asks the question.
Your name next time we play will be Quick Draw.
Now take my advice and go over the stats, you will then "Real Eyes" the truth when you look at it from another angle. Your perception is skewed, and it should be a little. Now since this is my thread, talking about reality. Understand that intro to the game? you can talk reality, or go troll somewhere else.
Oh, before I leave this game, you should find Dave Elmans book "Hypnotherapy" interesting read. BTW he is from ND, lived in Fargo, and made Mayo clinic what it is today.

Overall, the Griz played some good defense on Saturday. The FGs for the Bison were a combination of good defensive calls and some questionable offensive calls by our OC. Polasek is learning to be a OC and will get better. He said after the game that he needs to be better in his play calling. I'll give him a pass.
Take out the 2 long passes by the Griz and their offense did nothing.

Re: And then Reality sets in...
Guys, the game I played with you is over. GATW and BL were fine subjects. Thanks for playing. If you come over for the Sioux Griz game on the 4th look me up, and I will buy you a drink. I will be in the Griz Alum area before the game. Griz should win that one handly. I have the results I was looking for. Quit digging yourself any deeper. I am on to a new chapter in my studies. Perception is a funny thing.
One last thing, I hope you read up on Dave Elman, and found his book. Do look up the wine study on North Dakota vs Napa Wine labels. Also look up how eye witness accounts are totally different, even though they watch the same thing. How can one person see a red shirt and another a blue after watching the same video? Amazing how your mind fills in the spaces with things, that aren't facts.
