Feel bad for Cruz. Fluky injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season I assume.

All I can do is
at that pathetic excuse of a game from the hawks. The only thing funnier is the meltdown of the fairweather fans on Seahawks' forums. Amazing what one loss at home to a good team will do! Props to the Cowboys and their coaching staff for beautiful execution in such a hostile environment. This may be the year the Cowboys do some damage in the playoffs! But then again, we've heard that one before.
One important thing I noticed and I think it's exactly what Goodell wanted, there are no more great defenses in the league. Seahawks aren't anywhere near as good as last year, cinci d has imploded over the last 2 games, SF D can be dissected. Hell, even SD's D was carved up by Oakland. Seems like the rules change has had its intended consequences. Good job Godell and owners! Who needs to play defense anyway? Fuck all of you.

That was a strange one. Live I thought he was faking because he missed an easy catch. Nothing on the relpay looked suspicious... just must have been hanging on from early stress.93henfan wrote:Yeah that sucked. Def feel bad. Sounds like the Seahawks view Percy like I do....not worth the money.
Traded away.
Now, if Percy is this amazing all world guy like SE wants me to believe, why would the Seahawks trade him for a conditional pick?

If you remember the BIg East basketball thread last year where I ripped vutomcat a new asshole (no homo) all season with the Big East is overrated - especially Creighton - and he kept fighting me on how it wasn't, I didn't understand basketball, was a hater, blah blah blah....
That's how SE is with the former Viking players on Seattle. He did the same thing with the Vikings gave the Seahawks T-Jax (still waiting for him to be a top half starting QB that didn't get a fair shake in Minnesota), then Sydney Rice, and then Percy Harvin....
I was right with every single one of them.
I'll just sit back and wait for the ever so predictable SE response of "FUCK YOU FAGGOT, SUPER BOWL RINGS COCK SUCKER, BLAH BLAH BLAH"

Pabst Blue Ribbon provides an interesting case study in cool. Just a few years ago, the Pabst Brewing Company was in shambles. The watery, 170-year-old beer enjoyed popularity in the 1970s, but the '80s were none too kind to the brew, kicking off a 20-year sales slump. In 1996, Pabst closed its flagship Milwaukee brewery. In 2001, sales dropped to fewer than a million barrels -- 90 percent below its 1975 high.
Then something changed, and PBR was suddenly the hipster's choice at bars and barbecues everywhere. Sales jumped by 20.3 percent in 2009 and continued to rise steadily over the next few years, according to Beer Marketer's Insights. By 2013, Americans drank more than 90 million gallons of PBR, according to data from Euromonitor, which is nearly 200 percent more than they did in 2004.

For the Jets, he is an upgrade at WR, probably better than anyone they'd draft in the 4th round and they still have a lot of cap space available even after this contract for some unknown reason. Plus next year, none of his salary is guaranteed.

Re: **Official 2014 NFL Season Thread**
It's not the money. It's the fact he was a cancer in the locker room. If anything, I blame the Hawk's OC Bevell for this (I think you would know of this dude). Quite frankly, he had zero idea what he was doing with Harvin. Using him for bubble screens and jet (heh) sweeps seemed like his only options. The man needs to be sent downfield like a djax or TY Hilton. I think what happened was that his ego got too large for the locker room to take since he wasn't producing like he wanted and wanted the ball more to make up for it. So while Percy is headed for NY, the Hawks should also slip in Bevell free of charge.clenz wrote:Sounds like the Seahawks view Percy like I do....not worth the money.

Pretty predictable post from you... douchey, pretentious chest thumping while exaggerating things I've stated regarding those former Vikings players. But hey if that makes you feel better about yourself, then by all means.clenz wrote: Percy![]()

I had hope after 3 games and an early bye week.. Back to reality. How fast can a team go 7-8-1?Grizalltheway wrote:Hey Grizza, how bout them Bungles? 107 total yards!

I wonder if SE is contemplating Seppuku after Seattle lost again?

I hate the Redskins, but Colt McCoy just isn't a name I ever thought I'd hear again.

Re: **Official 2014 NFL Season Thread**
Eagles need to start thinking about their long-term solution at QB. Foles is not it.
