I've been banned on that god awful AGS for years. It was a blessing in disguise: THANKS RALPH!
Secondly, she made a mistake having unprotected premarital sex. You guys on the left viciously attack Palin and her family at every chance you get. Lay off the poor girl already.
The more you attack, the more I believe you guys feel THREATENED by Palin. McCain, McSame, or w/e the hell you guys called him would have lost by a lot more than he did if Palin were not on the ticket. Palin electrified the conservative base of the GOP, which was not a big fan of McCain.
I didn't get involved in the McCain camp until Palin tagged along. If Lieberman were on board, I would not have helped.
Liberals should be afraid. Palin is reminiscent of our leaders from 1968-2008. She is a great representative of the center-right nation we actually are. So go ahead and keep hating, because it will come back to haunt you one day.

There is not a person on the left (that I'm aware of) that does not eagerly anticipate Palin being "the top contender" on the right...

FWIW - I voted for McCain, and I am not a fan of Palin. When McCain chose her as a running mate the first thing I though of was Dan Quayle. A pretty face with little or no substance. If Palin is the GOP nominee in 2012 I think Obama will be re-elected - easily.guinzone wrote:I've been banned on that god awful AGS for years. It was a blessing in disguise: THANKS RALPH!

This is the priceless.....the delusion of the Republican party and the labeling of leftist; liberal, etc of anyone who doesn't believe Palin helped the ticket. She didn't; if she had been running for Michael Steele's job, her appeal to the "Conservative" base would have mattered.....problem was,she was running to represent and lead all of America. Her appeal and McCain's cowtowing to the flesh-eating neocon Cheney wing of the Repub party is what cost him the election by alienating the independents like myself...we're not threatened by Palin, we're threatened by the thought of so many of our fellow Americans being willing to buy into yet more after 8 years of lies wrapped in a flag carrying a cross (tappiong feet in the bathrooms)....guinzone wrote:I've been banned on that god awful AGS for years. Something about Palin gets under the skin of liberals. They do not like her or her conservative policies. With that being said, anything liberals hate with a passion is usually something I love.

It might be her social conservative views that have carried dick for the past 8 years. As for her daughter, there's nothing wrong with saying, "I f-ed up." But allowing yourself to become a political poster child for something you obviously don't believe in or practice is setting yourself up for the cries of hypocrisy. She can fade away just like anybody else can, but she sets her own self up for failure every time she gets in front of the camera with a wack job abstinance only political statement.

She actually does bear watching over the next few years - I don't think she is as socially conservative as she portrays. I think she was VASTLY unprepared for the national spotlight and the political games that are played (by both sides). She is young, and I think better served by getting more national exposure. I don't see her challenging Murokowski for the 2010 Alaska Senate Race, but not sure what else she could do in the meantime.

I'll admit a bit of that, guinder. Why? A dumbfuck fuckhead like her got elected to the White House in 2000 and 2004. If it happened to that dumbfuck, it can happen again with this dumbfuck who is a monumentally better looking dumbfuck than that dumbfuck.

The possibility of President Palin isn't just frightening to liberals. It scares the bejeebers out of this moderate independent as well.Cap'n Cat wrote:guinzone wrote:Something about Palin gets under the skin of liberals. As someone who has worked with mentally retarded kids, that comment is pretty cruel and degrading. Calling people retarded is like calling someone gay. I used to call people retarded, but why don't you go work with the mentally challenged in your community and you'll have a better appreciation of that word.
I do think Palin needs time before she can become President. I think she was rushed into everything and the McCain campaign failed to prepare her well enough. She just got to continue to succeed up there in Alaska, eehhhhhhhh..
But with all that being said, I love Palin. I agree with her on every single issue and she is one of the most popular conservatives in all America.
And to AZGrizFan: that was a pretty nasty thing to say about Obama. Let's hope we have moved past assassination attempts on our Presidents. I don't think we've had one since Reagan, if I am not mistaken.

It may seem alright to most of us, but it is actually an insult.
And FYI: I'm in COMPLETE agreement with you on the "retarded" thing. I've got a handicapped neice, and I've been down that road here before to no avail. At least WideRight has the ignorance of youth to fall back on....others here don't have the luxury of that excuse to fall back on.
Hey, Mother Teresa, easy gettin' on that high horse. I have a DD sister-in-law. It's fallen into general use and no one intends any disrespect using it. It's meaning is greatly diluted, kinda like that fucking retarded "In God We Trust" on currency.
Quit bein' the PC fuck you bitch about all the time. Fuckin' retard.
