Fins DEMOLISHED San Diego 37-0
Lions next week. All of a sudden we could be 6-3 looking like contenders in the AFC. (Plus holding the tiebreak over NE for now.)

Vikings offense could be good if/when the OL gets it's shit straight.
Not title good, but still pretty good.
McKinnon and Asiata are putting up numbers that are very similar to those that AP put up last season. Teddy is continuing to improve.
The two players the Vikings look to build on going forward, Teddy and McKinnon, both are in Minnesota because of a trade with Seattle.
I hope they work out better than the players they've ever taken from Minnesota recently

Eagles are a system-team now, as long as the QB is decent enough, it doesn't matter who it is. Sanchez was a starter in the NFL before the Jets crumbled around him, as the Jets are apt to do. He'll be plenty fine over the next few weeks, handing the ball off to McCoy or Sproles or even now Polk, and throwing the ball to Maclin or the TE's. Ryans was the biggest loss for the Birds on Sunday.

We do happen to agree. But hey, look at UNH over the years, it didn't matter who the QB was, they were still good. It's the system, man.Ivytalk wrote:Sounds like you worship at the church of Merrill Reese.GannonFan wrote:

The line looked better though Herremans banged up his arm. Assuming Herremans plays, I think they're only down one starter.89Hen wrote:Agreed, but there are a lot of broken parts right now.GannonFan wrote:It's the system, man.

No, he played yesterday and played well, save for some high snaps in the gun.89Hen wrote:Kelce?93henfan wrote:

Re: **Official 2014 NFL Season Thread**
Like others in the thread said, Kelce played yesterday, as did Sproles (and notice how the Eagles were able to run the ball yesterday with just those two coming back), and Mathis is supposed to be good for next week, giving the Eagles their OL back. Sure, the injury to Ryans hurts the defense, but with the offense in full gear, I'm not sure it matters. The Birds are clearly a playoff team, so now the question is can they get a bye out of the first round - with the NFC South leader at .500 and the NFC West about to consume itself (plenty of games left between the Cards, Niners, and Seahawks) the Eagles could be in good shape. Have faith in Chip, the team clearly does.89Hen wrote:Agreed, but there are a lot of broken parts right now.GannonFan wrote:It's the system, man.

Don't laugh Sanchez has a secret fan club among Eagles management and Foles could be on his way out listening to sports radio WFAN(NY) right now it would be sweet revenge if Sanchez leads the Eagles to a SB win this year.I personally felt that he is the 21st century version of Jim Plunkett another first round QB hotshot in the 70s that caught hell in New England and now has two SB wins on his resume with Oakland in the 80s!!!!DSUrocks07 wrote:93henfan wrote:Foles out 4-6 with broken collar bone. Still don't trust the steelers though with that bad defense.

The defense is a combination of young and old.Hey I was not fan of his when those stories ,surfaced about him being involved in sexual assaults the Steelers were very close to trading him.Plenty of other negative stories came out about him and his friends, when they ate out at expensive restaurants in Pittsburgh. When he and his posse went into restaurants they expected to eat for free!!!!!Seahawks08 wrote:Doesn't mean he's still not raping people.dal4018 wrote: No he is happily married!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Iggles looked dominant last night in big win over Carolina. Tough test in Green Bay on Sunday, then on to Dallas for Turkey Day game against Cowgirls.

Yup, the Birds are coming into form - it helps when that offensive line is healthy like they are (getting Mathis and Kelce back is huge - Herremans is a loss, but he was probably the guy you could afford to lose on that line). Just so many weapons right now, somebody is open on every play. I like what Sanchez can do in that pocket too - just a tad more mobile than Foles and he can keep the play alive that much longer to find the open guy(s). Real interesting test in Green Bay this weekend, but I like the Eagles chances. The unsung part of the Eagles this year is the play of the defensive line - those guys have gotten pressure against everyone this year and hopefully they can do the same with Rogers.

@Green Bay is a tall order. The Eagles also have the Cowboys twice and the Seahawks in the next five. Gotta go at least 2-3 and a split with the Cowboys. 3-2 would make me feel a lot better.
The Panthers are just a terrible team.

Cam - will he stay the QB? Rivera seems to not be sure about that.
