Coastal needs to quit dicking around. Put some points up. Hell, go for a 2 point conversion, CCU has executed it very well all season.

MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!!!!!!! Good job Flames, your team played tough. Espn 3 has shorty audio, can someone tell me why 10 seconds was taken off the clock?

I missed that, but Turner Gill seemed a lot more pissed off about it than CC did. Didn't really effect the outcome either way.

That's normally done when a team is out of timeouts and gets a penalty.

Why was Liberty calling TOs when CSU was in the red zone? Prayer break?

I heard something about a helmet but the A/V was horrible.

The refs completely botched up the entire 4th quarter. The clock should have expired before the FG attempt due to the penalty when they were out of timeouts. Earlier when Liberty missed a FG wide right, CCU clearly jumped offsides and the refs acted like they saw nothing.

A quick check of the stats shows that this was no fluke victory:

Holy shit!!!

Damn. Now the Presbyterian loss hurts me even more because had we not blown that...CCU, CSU and LIBERTY would all be tri-co-champs of thr BSC.

Dammit.

Great win Flames and great season both teams and Big South as a whole. CCU should still get an at-large.

How about the whistle blowing at 26 and the the clock stopping at 23.5 then starting and then stopping at 21.5. :coffee:

Theres just no freakin way the committee will have a team who was undefeated and ranked #1 going into the final week, who lost a 1 point game on a blocked FG to a really good Liberty team who is now co-champions, and NOT give them an at large bid.

If Coastal doesnt get in...it would be flat out criminal.

Offensive Player lost his helmet. They ran 10 seconds off of the clock. And all hell broke loose from the Liberty sideline

No, just. There was 15 second on the clock. 10 second run off. Should have been 5 seconds left and they spiked it. they were already lined up when the flag was thrown. they still would have spiked it. saying the game should have been over is just wrong

Why wouldn't they get in? I think the discussion is how this loss effects their seeding placement.

Screw your Coastal for choking!! Now that Jerry Falwell U is in, JMU and LU are only 50 some miles apart and will likely be matched up together. After crap bids in 04' and 11' (46k) it's been leaked on the JMU board that JMU put in a SUBSTANTIAL bid, and it's rumored to be over 100k (minimum is 40k).

The only possible AT Large school east of the Mississippi that could have put in more would be LU with their big $$$.

Now the NCAA's #1 concern is $$$. Hopefully they don't put what they have to know would be 2 of their highest bidding schools together. Put the UR/W&M winner @ LU and NC A&T @ JMU..All bus trips..

If JMU is @ LU going to be pissed!
Proud deplorable Ultra MAGA fascist NAZI trash clinging to my guns and religion (and whatever else I’ve been labeled by Obama/Clinton/Biden/Harris).

CCU deserves to get in and will 100% be in the field of 24. I believe they should probably get a bye as well. Their very, very weak OOC schedule hurt them. Losing to a good LU team with a RSF QB at home was a big surprise, but LU outplayed them today.
For the JMU fan not wanting to play at LU, that may or may not happen based on the seedings, etc. But you can absolutely be assured that their will be a game in L'burg next week. LU wallet is ALMOST as big as Ibanez's mouth. :)
Good luck to all in the post season.
