So reasonable precautions would be 13 days ago before an announcement? How many days/weeks should businesses be shut down waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting.....

Businesses are boarded up but have remained open. Boarded up means the covering of glass.

Most storms you don't have to prepare. If you have a big enough snow like a hurricane coming that's you have public pronouncements a storm is coming from both weather news sites and public & govt officials. You have a 1-2 days period that the storm will hit. Have govt leaders gotten on TV and said "A riot is coming on such and such date?" Are busineeses expected to be boarded up, and thereby maybe not being able to be open or fully open for days and weeks waiting for an announcement that has been rumored to coming soon for the last couple of weeks, and maybe still be days or weeks away? An announcement that might announce charges or that might not announce charges that might cause rioting or might not cause rioting?
You now have a state of emergency declared a head of time.

Does that change your opinion?
No. A state of emergency A WEEK before the grand jury announcement. :dunce: They've been talking about a decision "soon" or "any day now" for weeks. Again, how many days/weeks should businesses be expected to be boarded up?

I don't know how many deaths there will be but I bet there's a solid chance that Season's Greetings decoration over the street is coming down!

No. He kept charging 25 feet after the first shot outside the car. That's start of blood to where he dropped.

If I heard it correctly, Brown reached into the car. Wilson fired twice from inside car, grazing Brown on thumb. Brown ran away from car 150 feet, then turned around and charged Wilson. Wilson fired two volleys of ten total shots outside the car as Brown was charging him.

That's what I'm saying. There was blood found 25 feet beyond the spot where he dropped.
