Why's Obama sticking his nose into this? He has more important issues to worry about than some thug that got what was coming to him.

Brown family released the following statement:
We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his actions.

While we understand that many others share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change. We need to work together to fix the system that allowed this to happen.

Join with us in our campaign to ensure that every police officer working the streets in this country wears a body camera.

We respectfully ask that you please keep your protests peaceful. Answering violence with violence is not the appropriate reaction.

Let's not just make noise, let's make a difference.

That's an understandable and good statement from the family of someone who was killed.

The reaction of others is not as good. The Congressional Black Caucus Chair Marcia Fudge should be ashamed of herself. She has not seen the evidence and presupposes things even after the Prosecutor explained what facts were found and said that all of the evidence will be made public. An elected official should be better than that (though we know they are not)
"The Ferguson Grand Jury's decision not to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the death of Michael Brown is a miscarriage of justice. It is a slap in the face to Americans nationwide who continue to hope and believe that justice will prevail.

This decision seems to underscore an unwritten rule that Black lives hold no value; that you may kill Black men in this country without consequences or repercussions. This is a frightening narrative for every parent and guardian of Black and brown children, and another setback for race relations in America..."

I picked 6 to 20. I don't think it'll be TOO bad.

At the same time, I had to shake my head earlier this afternoon when I was watching the Alex Wagner show on MSNBC and the people there were acting like people were being SO unfair to assume there would be violence if the Grand Jury didn't produce an indictment.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

If he WAS going to stick his nose into it he should have unambiguously expressed support for the Grand Jury decision instead of acting like there are two equally legitimate responses.

There aren't. The response from the Black Community on this thing (along with some idiot Whites you see mixing in with the protestors on TV) has never been rational. It's the same old Black Paranoia thing harkening back to 50 or 100 or 200 years ago and how everything bad that happens to them is somebody else's fault and because people aren't fair to them.

Nah. It couldn't just be because a thug charged a police officer. And yes the guy was a thug. Somebody who isn't a thug doesn't do what he got caught on video doing to that little store clerk. The guy was a thug. Not hard at all to believe that somebody caught on video being such a jackass would do something to get himself shot.

Not when you sprinkle it with PCP.
