Unless you're LE or anticipate shooting in the dark, I don't see the need. A lot of times these things have different modes, a strobe being on them them to help keep LE somewhat overt.

So what exactly is the houndawg reconstruction of the events?

Brown puts his hands up and runs backwards away from Wilson. Wilson shoots him as he runs in reverse, explaining Brown being shot from the front. Wilson then wipes gun residue on Brown's body and fractures his own eye socket on the pavement to make it look like there was a tussle.

Mike Brown was 148 feet from the cop car when he died. If the 6'4", 210 lb. Wilson was so in fear for his life from the unarmed fat kid - (the butterball who had fractured his eye socket with one punch and beat him so badly that he felt like a five year old confronting Hulk Hogan and thought the next blow could be fatal  ) - that he called for backup, why did he follow him instead of waiting for his backup in an area he describes as not cop friendly?

Finally, Michael Brown's stepfather has apologized for saying "Burn this bitch down".

This is the statement written by his team of lawyers:

"I was so angry and full of raw emotions, as so many others were, and granted, I screamed out words that I shouldn't have screamed in the heat of the moment. It was wrong, and I humbly apologize to all of those who read my pain and anger as a true desire for what I want for our community."

This is the first draft of what he originally wrote all by himself:

Yo. My bad.

Yeah, had to say sorry. But it's not like the guys who did burn that place down where just waiting for a "go" signal and wouldn't have done it in the absence of him saying this. Just him being dumb.

The DA IS his defense lawyer, andy, in fact he is President of the backstoppers club that raised a half million for Wilson's defense. :coffee:

Meh. If you shoot somebody you should have to defend your actions on the witness stand under cross examination. If he can convince a trial jury to buy one of the versions of his story, then I'll wish him sunny beaches on which to spend his remaining time as a millionaire.

Hmmm. I wonder if that has anything to do with all the cops getting so trigger happy... :thumb:

I think I'll just leave this here:
WASHINGTON — Justice Department lawyers will recommend that no civil rights charges be brought against the police officer who fatally shot an unarmed teenager in Ferguson, Mo., after an F.B.I. investigation found no evidence to support charges, law enforcement officials said Wednesday.

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. and his civil rights chief, Vanita Gupta, will have the final say on whether the Justice Department will close the case against the officer, Darren Wilson. But it would be unusual for them to overrule the prosecutors on the case, who are still working on a legal memo explaining their recommendation.
