Looks like Coastal has this one in hand

I switched over to the Red Birds V UNI and 21-zip Birds
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair or fucking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. Al Swearengen

There was controversy over that touchdown, but there wasn't enough video evidence to overturn it. I'm kinda glad about that, because it involved a guy who hadn't had a touchdown all season. Getting your first in the playoffs is kinda special....

It's tough. He looks like he didn't have control after he caught it.

The only real question I have here is whether or not both teams' kickers are out. I don't think I've ever seen so many two-point attempts (much less SUCCESSFUL two-point attempts) in a single game.

THIS one was amazing, though. Quarterback goes in motion, leaving the ace back to give the ball to a receiver on an end around. When it seemed that the end around was stuffed, the receiver tossed it to the quarterback in the end zone for the two. That's some creative play design right there....

I really like how CCU is spreading the ball around, particularly on touchdown plays.

5:36 4th. forget what I said about neither team overpowering one another. Coastal's defense is crushing it today.

I think school is still in. It's a cool day so that's no excuse. The view on CCU is toward the visitors side. There's a huge section on the home side that is normally packed. I admit, the community doesn't seem to care about CCU.
Got to remember, this is dead in the middle of exam week also. Those students serious about their studies can't afford to lose a lot of time during the weekend for studying for exams on Monday.

But agreed on the community as a whole. I think being a beach town with so much to do around here, as well as the large retirement population doesn't help.

Agreed. But Myrtle Beach is a ghost town in the late fall, especially December.

Sadly, this will be our last game. I hope we do more than we did last year but there's no way we get past NDSU. We may have a shot against Villanova if we were on the other side of the bracket. :twocents:

NDSU is close to the pack this year. Any of the remaining playoff teams can beat them. CCU game will be much closer than last year, and I hope the Bison can win.

Great win Saturday for CCU. CCU certainly has a chance to beat NDSU.

People forget that Myrtle Beach is actually a small town, when you look at the actual permanent, full-time residents. The influx of tourists makes it look like a metropolis during 3/4 of the year.
Also, there are so many residents who have moved from other parts of the country (i.e. up North), that their loyalties still lay with their previous allegiances.
