Gotta beat the Cowgirls again next week or playoffs would be in jeopardy. Lions and Cards/Seahawks (whoever doesn't win the west) would likely be the wildcards. All three of those teams hold tiebreaker advantages over the Eagles.
Wouldn't be much of a stretch for the Cards to lose out, so you guys should be fine.

Is Philly's DL really that good, or does our pass-pro really suck that bad? If it weren't for the LOB, Seattle would have the same record as SF. :?

Btw, it's definitely the pass pro. But who needs pass pro when you can just run over everyone?

I honestly don't think San Francisco is playing better than St. Louis.

Raiders could steal one next weekend. :ohno:

I didn't follow the new SF stadium at all.

How the fuck can it be basically in San Jose but they still be the SF 49es?

That has/had to cause a lot friction between the fans and franchise, no?

Has it affected attendance?

The Giants and the Jets play in a different state
The bills don't play in buffalo
Dallas's New stadium is nowhere near the city of Dallas

The big money is near Santa Clara of these days

There was grumbling to be sure but the city of San Francisco did not want to fork over the hundreds of millions to build a new stadium

The Seahawks were simply better than the Eagles yesterday.

I think they did a good job on Lynch, but had no answers for Wilson & the defense. Wilson does a great job creating & buying time & their defense is just as dominant as it looked last postseason. First time I saw Sproles get shut down all year.

Agreed, the defense is the difference maker. I like Wilson and Lynch, but they don't scare you on offense. It's scary when you can't move the ball at all. I think they get away with a lot of grabbing and holding on defense, but when you play that kind of smothering defense you can get a few breaks.

Eagles are simply just the 3rd best team in the NFC (would've been 4th but I don't see the Cardinals being as good without Palmer). Home field wouldn't have mattered, as yesterday showed. The Eagles end the season this year either in Lambeau or in Century Link. And the NFC wins the Super Bowl again - can't see either of the Pack or the Hawks losing that one.

This is not the beginning of the season... just look at the 'Aints..

The Pack would teabag the fourty-whinners today, wouldn't even be close at either stadium.

The Raiders!

Cardinals lead the Rams 12-3. Given how St. Louis's offense has played thus far, that might be insurmountable.

Rams get to the 1, but have to kick a field goal. 12-6 now.

Drew Stanton hurt his knee earlier & will not return. Generic Q. Anonymostein now at QB for Arizona.

With Cards winning, the Eagles Cowboys game now becomes a playoff game.

The bigger question is will the NFL apologize to any fan that watched 3 hours of touchdown-less football last night?

Rumor has it that the Cards may be calling one of the posters on this board to be a QB by the end of the season. Injuries to QB could be their downfall. D can take you far but you need to score points against the better teams and QBs dropping like flies could crush them.

Why - it was entertaining, great D football.

Yeah, it is crushing. With Palmer, we were a Super Bowl team. Now...

Oh wow, less than 1 ppg difference, whereas Seattle is significantly better in every other statistical category.
