Both teams played opening round
Both teams won opening round

Both teams played second round games
Both teams lost second round games

How could Montana have won one more playoff game than UNI?
Unless he is counting the Bobcat game as a playing game.

If that's the case the playoffs started for UNI when they were 3-4 following a loss to South Dakota State. UNI then went on to beat Western Illinois, both teams in the national title game, Southern Illinois and Missouri State in consecutive weeks by an average score of 34-17 to finish the regular season.

Big deal. They ultimately went nowhere.

You actually did with your effusive praise above and overstating your case.

Yep. At your place. Maybe. In the Dome, prolly not.

Come back when you have enough talent to hang with
NDSU.
Were you not in the dome last time we beat ya there? Honestly don't know, since you were intimately involved in that one figure you do...unless getting the shit knocked out of ya has disrupted memories.

Didn't affect us too much. We made the semifinals. Unfortunately we pulled a Montana and lost in OT.

Meanwhile the Griz were home beating off and mounting pringhorns.

Yup, good to have a couple NC's under the belt cuz it takes some sting off always bowing out like that. You at least know your team can get it done even if they don't succeed all the time. I feel bad for ya dude.

Lol! Still pathetically hanging your hat on those. Time to grow up and face the fact you're irrelevant, just like UNI.

To be fair, UNI actually spends money on other sports and it's been nice watching them succeed, some at very high levels. But I get it, this is all about football.

We'll help you. We're pros.

Poor thing.

I appreciate the style in which you try to mitigate your situation with your effusive praise above and overstating your case.

Just adorable tiger.

Overstating, huh? Deftly introducing another dimension to the argument perhaps, but certainly not overstating.

If Montana spent as much on academics, especially reading comprehension and logic, as it does on football, it would be world class indeed.

You have my cell. Call anytime if you need someone to talk to. It's tough at first, but once you're comfortable with lower gridiron expectations and learn more about the primary role of higher education, you'll be fine.

Hey, you're pretty good at that. :thumb:

Let's see if you can spot the oddball again...

North Dakota State
Wofford
Georgia Southern
Old Dominion
Montana State
Sam Houston State
Illinois State
Eastern Washington
Coastal Carolina
Montana
New Hampshire
Southeastern Louisiana
Jacksonville State
Towson
Eastern Illinois
Chattanooga
Villanova

Here's a hint, one of the above teams hasn't played a quarterfinal game in the last three tournaments.

Delaware
Montana

One of these has played in 3 semifinal games and 2 NC's in 7 years.
One hasn't.

Hey, I'm not denying that we've had a few down years by our standards. But, when you fire a coach who got his team to the semis in his second year at the helm and replace him with Father Time, there's bound to be some hiccups.

Another difference between UM and UD is that we haven't given up on being relevant in FCS, and the talent cupboard isn't bare even with another new coach coming in. We'll be back. :geek:

One of these fanbases is honest, one is delusional. I put UD in the irrelevant category.

You're delusional or uninformed enough to put us both in the same category in terms of where the programs are headed. :coffee:
