Amazing what having Marshawn Lynch and the league's best defense will do for ya, huh?
You're right. Luck throws all those picks because his defense sucks. YPA and total passing attempts would certainly be affected by opposing D's not respecting the run, but not picks. Picks are a result of decision making.
Using your reasoning, whoever the Bills QB is should be putting up Wilson like numbers?

Huh, really? I guess I should've looked at the number. The face does kinda look like Peyton with the mouthpiece in and all.
OK, I can accept Wilson being better than Luck. That's not even a profound statement, really—it's kinda like saying that Doug Flutie is better than Ken O'Brien. I wouldn't put it past Seattle fans to claim he's better than Peyton, though.
Wilson is not better than Peyton. He's on track for Tom Brady like career for sure, but he has a long ways to go before he earns that kind of respect. As does Luck, but that doesn't stop the media from slobbing on his knob like he already is Manning-estque.

Actually it's more like saying Eli is better than Peyton because he has more rings.
Luck would be Eli in this example, solely for the number of picks he throws.
Terrible comparison. The meme I posted didn't even mention rings, solely passing numbers and won/loss.
Not to mention Wilson plays in a division with much tougher defenses, and has no OL to protect him (SEA OL is great in run blocking, but consistently is near the bottom of the league in pass-pro). Despite this, Wilson has put up similar, if not better numbers.

You know what's also amazing? Wilson has been doing this while the NFC West is the best division in football. Luck, on the other hand, has been in the worst division in football. Thus, Luck should be destroying Wilson in the stats category but he isn't. So is that more on Luck or the Colts overall? Shit, I would love to see Wilson have TY Hilton to throw to!

Wilson doesn't have the arm to throw deep balls to TY.

The NFC South Champion is guaranteed to finish the season below .500. Three teams in NFL history have made the playoffs with a losing record. The 2010 Seahawks are the only such team to win a playoff game. The Falcons, who could win the NFC South beating Carolina on Sunday, are 5-0 against the NFC South and 1-9 against the rest of the NFL. The 11-4 Cardinals are only non-NFC South team that Falcons have defeated.
