That mayor, in response to the Garner thing, stoked the fire of the crap about it being a race thing when it clearly was not. Again: A White guy would've gotten exactly the same treatment as Garner got in the same situation. And that piece of sh*t mayor went into that big thing about having to have "the talk" with his son etc. when what he should have been saying is, "People, there's not a shred of evidence that what happened to Garner was about race."

I am not a cop worshipper. But it's the mayor that turned it into a political thing by playing into the "Cops are hunting young Black males" mythology. He had a chance to be a leader and instead he chose to be a politician by pandering to a delusional social paranoia on the part of certain groups within the culture.

1) The Mayor is an idiot
2) The NYC Police regardless of their history or otherwise - are acting like a Union
3) Those speaking the loudest in NYC - seem to have the least to say - on both sides
4) Those with predisposed ideological positions are now more entrenched (on both sides) than ever

NYPD has had the third strongest police union in the country since there have been unions.

All public sector unions are the same whether they are police, fire, teachers or what have you- they extort government for less work, more pay, and protections for incompetence and corruption.

Well, they are at it again. Approximately 75 protesters were out in Ferguson last night and someone shot 2 cops from the "grassy knoll". The protesters are claiming it was not a protester in an attempt to shun any blame.

Shouldn't there be a point in time where the protests are no longer allowed or contained to a certain area. I'm thinking similar types of strategies that fizzled out the Occupy movements.
