Harvard lost to Dartmouth at home today after beating the Green 11 straight times. Amaker's Amateurs are in deep trouble in the Ivy race, after only 2 games. My Yale pick is looking good.

Go Yale. They were our best OOC win.

In a one-game Playoff? More than not likely to happen. Traditionally, over the past 20+ years, Ivy season ends with the P's.dal4018 wrote:Would love to see a Ivy Final with Harvard-Yale!!!!
After 1 full Ivy weekend, only two teams have no L in their Ivy records: Yale and Princeton.
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

UNI hits a 3 with 5 seconds left to win at a very talented Illinois State team.
18-2 and 7-1.
Top 20 match up coming this weekend as UNI hosts Wichita State

Some team from North Carolina won a game in NYC yesterday. Seemed to be a big deal for some reason...

Harvard on the road against Penn and Princeton this weekend. If the Crimson win both, they're still in the Ivy race. Lose both, and they're out. Split, and they'll need help.

Well, Harvard managed to hold off Princeton at Jadwin tonight. Almost blew a big lead, but Corbin Miller saved them.

Harvard squashed Penn tonight, 63-38. The toughest test is coming next weekend, with Yale at Lavietes on Saturday. Brown can be beaten quite easily, but Yale shouldn't be overlooked by Amaker.
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

Re: Games Thread (Men) 2014-2015
Harvard/Yale watch for tonight:
Yale whacks Dartmouth 81-66.
Harvard needed an OT to put Brown away 76-74, the Bears' first game without Leland King, who might be transferring next season.
My pick for tomorrow's game that may decide the Ivy champion if both teams win out until their next game on March 7: Yale, by 6 points. Harvard's defense and second half offense are both down from last season.
If Yale gets the Dance bid on March 7, it ends 53 years of futility for the Elis. Even Chris Dudley, Yale's most famous player to play in the NBA, did not even dance when he was there (like Jeremy Lin).

Harvard snuffs Yale out of the "running the table" discussion by defeating them in New Haven 52-50. The C's for us next week, but I'm out of town and won't have reliable Internet access the whole weekend.

Re: Games Thread (Men) 2014-2015
Albany now 12-0 in league play.
Re: Games Thread (Men) 2014-2015
UNI forgets how to play defense tonight against Illinois State. Gave up a season worst 64 points in regulation... Well 61 before a last min garbage time 3 from ISU against the end of the bench...
Thanks to the lack of defense UNI manages just a 18 point 83-64 win.
23-2 and 12-1. Clinched a top 3 seed in conference tourney and have a 4 game lead on 3rd with 5 to play. Can clinch top 2 next game. UNI holds the tie breaker over 3rd due to a season sweep.
Rest of schedule consists of teams currently in 10th, 9th 6th, 4th and 2nd.

Harvard holds off Columbia 72-68 after almost blowing big lead at home. Yale blows out Penn in Philly to stay tied for the Ivy lead. Princeton still in the hunt.

Harvard thrashed Cornell at home, while Yale handled P'ton on the road to remain tied for the Ivy lead with 3 weekends left to play. Princeton 2 1/2 games out and fading.
