I do not support farm subsidies. However, the idea behind them is that we are trying to ensure our food supply. It's a little different than giving money to the poor just because you're trying to ensure that their basic needs are met.

Otherwise, none of the subsidies mentioned have anything to do with Ernst talking about things like having only one pair of shoes, etc. Also, the report on her position on farm subsidies describes a totally reasonable position.

This is just another example of liberal ad hominem attack. Typical cheap shot crap to try to discredit someone's positions without actually providing anything resembling a quality argument against their positions.
