Of course it is, Grizza.

Rondo would have been suspended from any other team, other than the Lakers.

^ I am also very excited for the series. No real rooting interest though.

Houston and Ron Artest are giving the Lakers all they can handle in what is shaping up to be a very physical series. The series is tied 1-1 and heading to Houston for games 3 and 4. The Lakers swept the regular season series, the the Rockets played them really tough in games 1 and 2. Ron Artest scored 25 points before getting ejected in the 4th quarter. Kobe had 40 points.

Oh boy did Denver escape Dallas tonight with a win. Hope Cuban doesn't buy the hotel they are staying in tonight and have it burned to the ground with them in it. He was fucking pissed. Pushing camera guys and fans a-like out of his way as he walked across the court and down the tunnel.

The NBA admitted that the refs made a mistake at the end of the game. I guess they knew that if they didn't say something then Cuban would.

If you didn't see it: the Mav's had a two point lead and a foul to give with 8 seconds left. They were trying to foul before he Nuggets could get a shot off - but there was no call. Nuggets' Carmelo Anthony hits a three pointer and the Nuggets win by 1.

Yao Ming will miss the rest of the playoffs with a hairline fracture in his left foot. This is the third time that an injury to his left foot has ended a season for him.

The Rockets trail the Lakers 2 games to 1. I think any chance they had to win this series is now gone.

I can not believe the NBA came out with an apology, and fast too.

I read somewhere this morning that the NBA adopted this policy in the wake of the Tim Donaghy scandal. I think it's a good policy, the ref's are human and do make mistakes. It's better for the league to admit that than let people think the fix is in.

Yet nothing was said in the Boston/Chicago series. We all know they want a Boston/Cleveland/LA series.

Half way through the first quarter of game 4 and the Rockets lead 17-4.

Halftime Score: Rockets 54 Lakers 36 :o

Should be an interesting second half, I expect the Lakers to make a run.

The refs will make it all right by the end of the game.

Final score: Rockets 99 Lakers 87.

It's the first time all year the Lakers never led at any point of a game.

I am in utter disbelief. I figured the refs would allow the LA to come back and give them a chance to tie.

Nah, the Lakers might win then. The NBA may want the Lakers in the Finals, but they want each series to go 7 games along the way.

I totally forgot about the extra money that the NBA needs.....

So did anyone else see Davis push the little kid down after he made the game winning shot for the C's last night?
