Valiant effort by Weebs & particularly Senglin—that was no #8 seed the Griz just played.

For the semis: the Griz might be tired (except Dunn, who fouled out well before the end of regulation), but I'd be surprised if NAU played at the level Weber played at tonight.

Weebs is a different team with that Senglin (sp?) back.

Crazy finish. Weebs really choked that one away.

How do you figure that? BOTH teams sucked from the field down the stretch. (Except Senglin.. )

Hard to say that when Weisner threw away an inbound pass down 1, but whatever…

Both teams did some offensive choking at the end of regulation, that's for sure, but this game had tougher defense than you usually see in a Big Sky game. Rebounds & turnovers were the deciding factors.

Eh, not when your fandom is as much about wanting the Griz to lose as it is about wanting your own team to win... :coffee:

Weebs up 2 and at the stripe to seal it with 20 seconds to go. That is choking…but yeah that inbound pass that set up that sequence was a bad play too.

Is it just me or has America One been cutting out about every 30 seconds for the past week?

For me, it has to stop & buffer quite frequently. My connection isn't very fast, though, & the resolution is higher than UM's regular-season Big Sky TV broadcasts. The buffering isn't as bad as Sac, PSU, or NAU's broadcasts for me, however.

49-34 EWU at the half. EWU is shooting lights out and is 9/14 from 3.

Still 20 minutes to pour it on. Von Hofe and The Blizzard are taking it to the bumble bees though, so it's Saul Goodman.

91-83 final. Hornets get a flurry of points in the closing minutes. McKinney out played Harvey so there is no question who the better player is. Great shooting from EWU, not easy trying to beat a team that goes 15/25 from 3.
