2008 Broadcasts, We Want Your Help!

Post by SMEnetwork »

We are asking fans and the listeners of our shows about what is more important to them for next year. We are planning many new aspects of our broadcasts. Here are some of the things in discussion right now.

1- Live game broadcasts. We are planning to bring you up to 3 games each weekend. The top 3 games not being televised to a national audience will be broadcast with the potential of syndicated radio broadcasts.
2- SME Network’s Saturday Tailgate – This will be a show that takes place outside different stadiums each week. Our broadcast crew and “Girls of SME” will head to the biggest game each week and broadcast from outside the stadium during the fans tailgate parties.
3- Additional “Football Championship Shows” – We will add to our show and run more call-in shows. Currently the Football Championship Show airs for two hours each Wednesday night. We can expand on this coverage and air our shows more than once a week.
4- Other shows at other time slots. To accommodate fans from coast-to-coast we can add newer shows at later time slots for fans that can only listen later on in the evening.

Please give us your thoughts about what you would like to hear. We will work our hardest to bring you the most and the best coverage of the FCS.

The SME Network is always looking to expand our coverage. We are currently running “Hoops Highway” our national mid-major basketball show (every Monday from 5-7pm Eastern) and we are also researching the possibility of added a national lacrosse and hockey show. Also, if you missed photos from our National Championship broadcast you can view them in our photo gallery. Please be sure to give us your feedback and tell us what you want to hear.

We also wanted fans to know about our “Girls of SME – Girl of the Year” contest. Fans will have the opportunity to vote in our tournament style contest to crown our “Girl of the Year”. Voting and match-ups begin this Wednesday, January 16th and brackets are now on our girls’ page. Be sure to vote for your favorite!

I like all of those ideas? Is there anyway to get all of those aspects on your network?
