In general I think sportsmanship has declined in the modern era. However, I do not think the thing where two receivers jump up and bump each other after a touchdown equates to what I saw Adams do at the beginning of the first offensive series every time I saw Eastern Washington play on TV with him at quarterback. The first time I saw it I thought, "WTF is THAT?"

C'mon, Admit it. What he'd do with that dancing stuff at the start of the game creates a certain impression and it ain't a good one.

I'm a fan of Lomardi's famous comment, and I liked Ladanian Tomlinson handing the ball to the ref, but as long as it's not degrading the other team I don't think it's that big of a deal and I won't question somebody's character because of it.
