Only because he did the obvious made the guarantee vs the Colts and it was Mat Snell that rightfully should have garnered MVP honors in SB III.

Namath led that team to the title...not Snell.

Namath had a strong will...and he backed it up and won the title with his moxie, physical play, and leadership skills. People followed Namath...he was their leader. Everything flowed from Namath...even Snell. Snell followed Namath's leadership, and Snell was just a bunch of muscle making some plays.

MVP awards go to leaders and winners. Joe had the extra, "thing." The MVP went to Namath...as it should have. No contest. Stop whining...it brings you down even more than usual.
These signatures have a 500 character limit?
