The latest fire is in East Baltimore, away from the earlier thuggery. They say it was a newly-contructed multi-story senior center. Early word is that it is not yet inhabited. Hopefully that's true. Makes sense, as such a facility should have a robust sprinkler system activated if inhabited I'd think.

11 o'clock hr ECB time on FNC had what looked like about 200 cops just standing there doing nothing for over an hr while 1-200 yds away people were looting & burning. Apparently they'd retreated in the face of a few doz throwing stuff. Later went back forward to where they'd been (they marched in a line the width of a 4 lane street at least 10 deep) followed by the fire dept to put out the fires. Later by midnight mass of police had retreated again.

Gay people have been harassed, maimed and murdered for centuries.........you don't see them looting and burning down cities.

When are blacks going to OWN UP to their actions and start behaving like the rest of civilized society? The excuses are wearing thin.........they've gone from a suppressed minority to a bunch of pathetic lazy thugs. I apologize to those blacks who do not fit that description (a majority of them)......but it is time for the rest of them to start calling out those in their own race on their actions.

And it's also time for every policeman and policewoman in this country to start wearing cameras. Every arrest, assault, and murder should be recorded so there are NO questions as to what actually happened. The price of the cameras will be worth it.

Unfortunately, any good that happened over the weekend has been lost. There is a serious problem surrounding the death and injuries to Freddie Gray. Yes he had a long rap sheet. But that does not explain or excuse him severing his spinal cord.
