1. for the most part, these emails are written by operatives (usually interns) at DCI... these don't come from "some guy in ohio or missouri"
2. I love how "Obama duped people and the media were complicit" the biggest whiny-ass-titty-baby complaint that misses the fact that the GOP's time is over and they've **** up this country to the point that we could have nominated almost anyone and we would have won.
3. this contains my favorite of all time right wing bullshit canards... "illegal immigrants and social security" it's not true, it's never been true... but it plays on prejudice and affirms the readers belief that everyone is getting something but them (even if they are getting something). it's right up there with "they'll take our guns omgeezus"
also love that "joe the plumber" is cited as some kind of moral authority on anything...

he's all that's left for them to "rally round"

I don't disagree with what you're saying TTBF but I do have a couple of questions/points of clarification:
1) On points 1 & 3, you can't tell me that the Dems don't have their own operatives writing up their own BS stories, quotes, poems, etc. that play upon the fears of their core constituents.
2) On point 2, all politicians attempt to dupe the people by pretending to commit to taking care of their need/fears. Obama was very good at keeping things extremely general and avoiding specifics that might have pinned him down or alienated a potential voting block. I recognize that Obama is a politician and I don't think I've been critical of him for this (although I do wish we could elect a few more statesmen and a few less politicians).
I've also never tried to deny that W has "**** up this country to the point that we could have nominated almost anyone and we would have won." My concern is that the current administration's policies will aggravate the dismal state of the economy by making American companies less competitive and attempting to replace the lost jobs by growing government further.
