The politics of it never struck me either. Then again, I don't salivate everytime there's an Al Sharpton worthy occurrence. Racism and victimhood are both well alive in America and this woman seems a bit "off" and they simply don't pertain to me or the colored people I know that much.

OK, Howard University is a HBCU. How would claiming to be black give her any special status at a HBCU?? Now if she claimed to be white, then they would have given her a full ride for all 4 years. When you know the real facts, you don't go saying stupid shit like this. As far as her being in the NAACP, well look at the founders of the NAACP. Race is not an issue for becoming a member of the NAACP. IF this was so, the NAACP would never have been founded.
