Appreciate means to recognize worth. To understand value. To admire. For instance, I don't understand a lot of art, but I can appreciate it. Or I appreciate the fact the others have a difference of opinion due to differences in experience and up bringing.

So you either recognize the worth in his follow through OR fully understand his ability to do what he said he'd do. Either way, it's a weird position to take in this event. I fully appreciate when someone does what they say, however in terms of inflicting un warranted pain and suffering, I'd prefer that Dylann had wussed out. I think most rational people would agree with that instead of admiring his determination.

There was a march last night in Charleston for Unity. The goal was to get about 3,000 people to form a chain across the Cooper River bridge ( Mount Pleasant to Charleston). Well, approx. 15,000 people showed up including Stephen Colbert and some say they saw Bill Murray (our other famous resident/business owner). This is the part of the story not making the national news (at least I haven't seen it yet.)

Meanwhile, BlacklivesMatter is vandalizing public property.

So, we paid our respects at the church. The amount of love and support is tremendous. The road is blocked off due to all the people singing and Praying. Fox and CNN are still, not sure why. It's sad to be at the scene of such a horrendous act but it's truly a moment in history.

I wonder how many black folks came out to "pay respects" to the white family killed (after being tortured for a day) by the black guy in DC a few weeks ago. We'll probably never know because the media barely covered it. It wasn't a "hate crime". There's no hate involved when you torture a 10 year old boy in front of his parents.

It probably would have made more news if the cops arresting the negro made him when bleed when they took him down, especially if they were white.
