30 for 30 - Marcus Dupree

Post by 89Hen »

I'm embarrassed to say I really don't recall this when it happened. Fascinating and sad story, but he seems to have found his place in life. Anyone else catch this one?

Yes - they were actually all filmed in 2010, for ESPN's 30th anniversary.

Dupree's story was #29, released at the end of 2010

Isn't there two on Miami football? There was one from the 80's and I thought I saw another from the 90's. I think it was called "Part 2" or something.

Yes. And it's not must see. The first one was OK. It would probably be more interesting for a 20-something who didnt live the Jimmy Johnson Miami days like we did.

It explains how Miami went from an afterthought to an ass kicking swagger wagon. But again, we old guys lived it.

Laettner was a big time bust made big fuss over not being selected by Charlotte when they took Mourning instead turned into typical 3 point specialist coming off the bench!!!!!
