You look just as pathetic, if not more so, than those who try to force religion down others throat when you sit there and yell at people for believing in something bigger than them self. Not everyone that is religious is Christian. You spend hours bashing Christianity, but yet you leave out Judaism and Islam...both religions have the same God as Christianity. You also leave you

I understand you issues with religion, however, true religion isn't about pushing a belief on a person, it is about finding a reason for ones life and trying to find inner peace. Every society in the history of Earth has had a religion of some kind. Hell, atheism is a religion as well.

Whether you want to believe or not doesn't affect me. I don't get on your case because you choose not to believe in a higher power, so leave me the fuck alone about what I believe. If you can't handle religion and those who believe in one, then you have some serious fucking issues that go well beyond whether or not your father "forced you to go to church" as a child, as Cap'n claims.

Long story short, I believe you don't...fucking deal.
Hey Clenz, I don't give a flying fuck what you believe. I just hate to see a young man wasting time and money on fairy tales.

It's a sham. :geek:
Who said I'm wasting time or money? I don't think it is wasting time or money if both are going towards something I believe and support.

I believe smoking weed is a waste of time, but you don't.

The only time is wasting is talking to you about this subject, because as open minded as you want people to be, you are as closed to this area as any of the neocons are to gays. You are showing the epitome of hypocrisy right now. Given your political party, I'm not shocked

Who said the place I worship, assuming I worship (I have yet to say i attend a church or give to one) and give, asks for it. What if I give out of free will. Many charities go out and ask for donations, does that mean those charities or worthy?

Don't get too worked up Clenz. This is one of those subjects in which any REAL meaningful conversation is carried on by those that understand the science (ie-way over our heads). Many of the people who fight (both sides)over this most likely never took a science course past high school.

Evolution is a weak theory, and Creationism will never be able to prove itself, only tear down Evolution. So, we always end up at an impasse on this subject.

Why do I believe what I believe? Again, I have never once stated what my religion was exactly. I believe what I believe because it gives me a place to go and learn when I have problems and issues. Yes, I can go to people and ask, but the place I go isn't going to bring a human bias against me or my problem. I believe it because it preaches equality and patience, along with self discipline and respect.

Do I need a religion for those things? Maybe not. Do I choose to believe out of my own free will and conviction because it is what I feel is right? Yes.

You got to be kidding! Weak? That Swine Flu - Yep = evolution in front of your eyes

Anyone who thinks evolution is for the birds should not be afraid of swine flu. Because if there's no such thing as evolution, then there's no such thing as a new strain of swine flu infecting people.

For the rest of the population, concern is justified.

Creationism? Like, Mike Huckabee creationism? They will never prove themselves for the same reason i can't prove 2 + 2 = -14. Its a stupid answer, and its wrong. Evolution is probably flawed, as most theories are, but to call it weak, i think, is a little overstated.

SG don't know what the fvck he's talking about. Whole disciplines of science (Genetics, Zoology, Biology, Microbiology) and industry (agriculture, pharmaceutical, animal breeding) have their foundations on evolution.

Good call. Church is for suckers. :geek: :?: :!:
That, for the most part, I will agree with. There are some services (again they aren't religious but faithful services as wideright pointed out) that do a good job.

The fact is you, and your brother, don't believe in God, good for you. I'm not going to force you to believe, not even try to throw things at you to believe. You don't want too, fine. I choose to believe, and if you can't handle that....well...tough **** ****, deal with it.

I don't get on your case because you choose not to believe in a higher power, so leave me the **** alone about what I believe. If you can't handle religion and those who believe in one, then you have some serious **** issues that go well beyond whether or not your father "forced you to go to church" as a child, as Cap'n claims.

Long story short, I believe you don't...**** deal.

"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."
