Official 2015 Fantasy Football Thread
So, I scrolled halfway down and didn't see anything so I started this thread.
What can you Viking fans tell me about Adrian Peterson? I kept him in my league. Is he worth it?

I was thinking about drafting him early - I like the year off - he should have something to prove and should be well rested.

Re: Official 2015 Fantasy Football Thread
I'm in a keeper league where you can keep up to 3 players from the previous season as long as they are different positions. Last year I drafted ADAP and Ray Rice and was fucked before the season even began. I dropped Rice but held onto Peterson all year. So I kept him as my second player(first was Luck).
So I really took a gamble on him rebounding.

Re: Official 2015 Fantasy Football Thread
Physically he'll be ready. The offense is what would hold him back. If Teddy has progressed and is the teddy of the last half of last season AP won't get 25 carries per game.
He's probably going to finish between 1200 and 1400 yards with 10 to 13 tda.
Still a damn good fantasy production

Twelve people are interested now. Ten will be by the time to set rosters for week 1. Six will still be after the other six have lost a few games. Etc.Ibanez wrote:That sucks..... I know trip normally set it up. Is anyone interested?clenz wrote:Probably not

I think last year my team was auto-drafted because I forgot about or couldn't make the draft, and my give-a-shit just wasn't there after that.

Re: Official 2015 Fantasy Football Thread
In a non-PPR league, who do you keep as a keeper?
M. Lynch (Picked end of 1st round last year - as keeper)
A Brown (Picked end of 3rd round last year)
Draft order for this year is opposite of when keeper was picked last year so keeping Brown would lead to a better 2nd round pick than Lynch.

I thought I was killing it last year until I realized I was the only one actively managing their team.93henfan wrote:Twelve people are interested now. I had 2 teams finish in last, one team finish second to last...but I did have 1 finish 3rd

Could you explain that in more detail please? I'm not quite sure what you are saying with regards to draft order.tribe_pride wrote:In a non-PPR league, who do you keep as a keeper?

Assume a 3 man league (just for ease of description)Seahawks08 wrote:Could you explain that in more detail please? I'm not quite sure what you are saying with regards to draft order.tribe_pride wrote:In a non-PPR league, who do you keep as a keeper?
M. Lynch (Picked end of 1st round last year - as keeper)
A Brown (Picked end of 3rd round last year)
Draft order for this year is opposite of when keeper was picked last year so keeping Brown would lead to a better 2nd round pick than Lynch.
Person A is keeping guy picked 3th round, 2nd pick in last year's draft
Person B is keeping guy picked 1st round, 3rd pick in last year's draft
Person C is keeping guy picked 5th round, 1st pick in last year's draft
Draft order for this year for the 2nd round (assume 1st round are keepers) is C - 1st, A - 2nd, and B - 3rd because C is keeping a guy who was drafted the latest of all the keepers in last year's draft and A is keeping the earliest picked guy from last year.

Re: Official 2015 Fantasy Football Thread
I would take Brown then. He is the best WR in the league right now and you get a better pick.
Btw, how many teams are in your league?

Excellent. Then that makes the case for Brown even stronger. You should still be able to get a really good RB in the first round.tribe_pride wrote:10Seahawks08 wrote:I would take Brown then. He is the best WR in the league right now and you get a better pick.
