BlackFalkin wrote:Clenz, as a fan of UNI, Im sure you want the program to succeed. Having said that, how would you feel if the star QB, RB & 3 starting WRs got suspended for the entire season? Leaving your beloved panthers in Dicksville USA.. aka dead last in the conference? Sending UNI into a 7 year downward sprial of horrible recruiting, performance and horrible attendance! Look at Idaho st. They won the Big Sky a couple years back... remember? of course you dont bc all u see now is a bunch of losers. But at that school theres a history of the fb team hating the bb team and vice versa. For a span of 3 weeks a couple years ago, there was shooting, & fighting non stop causing 8 fb players & 3 bb players to be kicked off the team or simply leaving. Even though the teams hated each other, it never got outta hand till people started snitching
UNI's back up QB is just as good, and better in some peoples eye's as our starter. We are loaded depth wise at RB and WR. We would be just fine. Look at last year when we lost our 2 top WR's for the end of the season on playoffs. We lost 2 4 year starters that were leading the team in receptions yards, excitement, fans, returns, etc... Heck one of them was the face of the program...litterally. He had been the main focus of the team posters and computer wallpapers for the last 2 years. Then BOOM, they get hit with drug charges and get kicked from the team. UNI would be fine if that were to happen. However, that won't happen because our players, ok well our stars, for the most part aren't dumb enough to get shit like that to get them in trouble like this. I'm not saying that don't do anything wrong, but for the most part they aren't dumb enough to get caught. Johnny let his ego get the best of him and it really hit the team hard last year when it came to acting right.

UNI isn't Idaho State.

NDSU had more reasons that that for not winning the conference last year. They didn't know what it was like to play the quality of teams in the MVFC week in and week out every week of the season and it kicked their ass. They also let the preseason hype get so far up their asses they didn't know what to do when adversity hit them.

Shit like this is exactly why NDSU didn't win the MVC last year despite having their most talented team in recent memory.

HAHAHA...I think there were a few more factors in it than that.
The team had no leadership, none. I sat there and watched the QB stand by himself on the sideline, the star RB got a huge head(quote from a player on the team), and I guess the injuries didn't help but if the team had any kind of leadership they would have been able to battle through the adversity and would have won at least a few of those close games. They absolutely dominated any team that was inferior but once they played a team with similar talent and got into a close game they would self-destruct.

You were probably typing this as I posted my post but this wasn't hard to see....even within your fan base.

I could see it when NDSU was in CF last year. There were fights on the field, I could see disention in the huddle, especially with Roehl and the rest of the team. I honestly thought you were a better team without him on the field.

That is when I started seeing it as well, especially regarding the offense and it really boiled over in the Indiana State game, I have never seen a football team less focused than that game. It was like a bunch of guys didn't even care.

But real eye opener was when I talked about some of this with somebody I know on the team, some of things he said really put things into perspective. I remember he said our two backup QBs didn't have a clue, which seemed to go against what I had heard prior to talking to him, but after both being arrested in the past month he seems to be spot on.

So all the bitching about Merten's and he really was the best/only option for NDSU?!?!?!?! Things don't look good for NDSU if that is the case.

Haven't heard a peep about him in a while. I don't think he would stick around long, rumors from the locker room are he is a little bitch, just like Mallet was.

Apparently Tate Forcier has look real good this spring.

When you see a crime or something, why can you just turn around, go back inside your studio apartment and watch tv? Why do you have to involve yourself?

Yep, that bitching was and is all for nothing. Mertens was likely going to be the guy next year, I guess the only thing this does is increase the odds of Bohl finding somebody to transfer in since he will probably have a scholarship to give out.

Really great football teams are stocked with a lot of really fun loving hard party type guys, coaches love 'em, boosters love 'em, and most students love 'em. They deserve to get drunk, pinch ass, puke, and pass out.

Been there, done that! :D

Now as for the dumb as a box of rocks douchebag self entitled jerk off's that go out in public and do really ignorant retard shit like get a DUI, that has it's function as well, Darwin style. ;)

Keeps your really good fun loving teams stocked with a lot of really fun loving hard party boys winners, not pain in the ass losers.

When you arrive on campus for the first time, u link up with other freshman going thru the same experience as you, so through the 5 years, most of your best friends are those same guys, and if your a senior now, and knowing this guy for 5 years, which is really more like ten years bc you see him EVERYDAY, day in day out. You battle with him, drink with him, party with him, practice with him, no homo. you are gonna have a pretty good damn bond. And when he makes a bad move to drive while drunk... you limp dick bastards would call the police on him!??! Even if you didnt get a chance to talk him out of it, why call the police as a second option?

You guys are saying youve NEVER broke the law? Or if/when you did, would you want someone to snitch on u? Or if you got snitched on ...how did it feel when you got fvcked by the long 'dick' of the law?

Some of you guys are some gotdamn pussies and thats it, theres more to being a good person than calling the police everytime u get a chance.
