Only two ways to use tabaccy and both suck, smoke it or chew it. Not to mention weed is weed tabaccy is a **** load of crap. Here is a partial list of the 599 added ingrediants...

# Arsenic used in rat poison
# Acetic Acid hair dye and photo developer
# Acetone main ingredient in paint and fingernail polish remover
# Ammonia a typical household cleaner
# Benzene rubber cement
# Cadmium found in batteries and artists' oil paint
# Carbon Monoxide poison
# Hydrazine used in jet and rocket fuels
# Formaldehyde used to embalm dead bodies
# Hydrogen Cyanide poison in gas chambers
# Napthalenes used in explosives, moth balls, and paint pigments
# Nickel used in the process of electroplating
# Phenol used in disinfectants and plastics
# Polonium radiation dosage, equal to 300 chest X-rays in one year
# Toluene embalmer's glue
Link???

Relax Baby Tbag, you think he just made this list up? Give me a fucking break. This is common knowledge contained in any tobacco or smoking info source.

Actually, hempdawg, I just had dinner on Wed. with a group of friends who brought along a "third wheel", a stoner/baby boomer gal in her mid 50's who never matured (much like yourself) who hasn't bought much dope over the past year due to her fear of going into bad neighborhoods (and dealing with bad people) to buy her pot. One of her new year resolutions is to get a scrip so she can buy from dispensaries.

Much of this legalization crap emanates from the baby boomer/stoners reaching the age where their Honda Pilots look out of place in ghetto projects, or they don't want to get cold having to park around the corner and walk two blocks to buy from the no'er do well 36 yr old full-time student who sells dope, yet still asks Mommy and Daddy to pay his rent.

A drive-through solution for a generation of fast-food stoners/losers.

And the government gets a cut too.

Why don't you go drown yourself in a scotch and STFU. :coffee:

Tell me more about this gal in her mid 50's that you met for first time, yet know she's emotionally stunted and addicted to pot, but won't buy it cuz the only people in N. Cali (the pot capital of america) with dope are gang members from L.A. :coffee:

I'm just not seeing the irreparable social and moral harm that would come from legalizing and regulating pot. So it's gonna be damned impossible for you to find a bag of Funyuns. Big fucking deal. If the government and private industry can replace Chico with the SMG as your go-to guy for something that's no better and no worse than what you can get legally from Altria, MillerCoors, or Eli Lilly, that's a win, innit? Of course not, because GODDAMN HIPPIES, that's why.

If we're really going to outlaw something chemically and physically addictive that supposedly makes people act like assholes, we ought to go after your shitty Taster's Choice. You'd be all sorts of fucked, mi hombre grande

I drive the speed limit.

I have to. I already have a point on my record after my last speeding ticket two years ago in Monterey.

Nice non-answer legalese speak, JJ.....

If that law is fluid, why can't other laws be fluid? If people who were driving 55 are now driving 70, are they still morally lawbreakers? If the pot laws were changed, would you still consider a potsmoker to be morally an outlaw?

If child molestation was legalized, those who partake would still be pedophiles.

Though alcohol is legal, the abuse and societal carnage resulting from it's availibility is obviously well documented and visible to any person who pays attention.

The only four reasons to legalize marijuana would be:
To make available to users who otherwise wouldn't seek it due to lawful risks.
To make it easier to obtain (dispensaries, rather than from disreputable sources).
For government to tax regulate and corporations to monopolize the market.
For social workers to develop a cottage industry counseling it's abusers.

& the reasons for keeping it illegal would be:

-to support the need for construction of more prisons & empowerment of prison lobby;
-to allow law enforcement the justification for searches & seizure at will to "combat the war on drugs";
-to placate old geezers like yourself who pine for the days of yore....

Tell me, TMan...

...how does our society move forward at all with over 130k of it's citizens incarcerated for felony marijuana convictions at a cost of over $85mil annually just to house them?

Legalize it all. The government has no business regulating the chemicals people put inside themselves. We don't regulate any other risky behaviors that don't affect the neighbors. Personally, I could use the entertainment. Anyone ever seen a smackhead on the nod? Or some stupid kid on acid? A crackwhore fvcking herself with a fork to entertain her dealer in return for a rock? I'm telling you, that sh!t is fvcking hilarious; what people will do to fry their fvcking brains out, and how they act when they are on the stuff.

Especially acid. I love that sh!t. I've seen prom queens strip bare fvcking naked in the middle of the road with their Baptist parents sobbing in the police station lobby afterwards.

Human wreckage. I get off on it. It's better than WWF and Springer all rolled into one.

That being said, law enforcement would be just as busy and spend just as much money on expensive detection for impairment and enforcement of DWI laws as we currently do in the war on drugs. My beliefs on this subject are strictly libertarian. I could give a sh!t about the money. The government isn't going to lower our taxes or quickly move to balance the budget if we suddenly end the war on drugs.

Sad but true. Our taxes won't be lowered. But, I'd still rather keep beds in prison available for real threats to society instead of occupied by mandatory-minimum, non-violent offenders....

You know not what you speak, hempdawg. I have many friends out here who still partake. NONE grow their own. Most comes from Asian and Mexican gang house operations done in leased housing. The large "forest" operation product from the North Coast and Foothills is shipped out of state.

Growing hybrids like #7 is very labor intensive and require culling 80% of the seedlings (male). Furthermore, the utility companies work in conjunction with the DEA to identify mom & pop growers, hence, for the "average" user, the time and risks are too great to justify the savings.
