http://billingsgazette.net/articles/200 ... dition.txtThis is a letter to all Christians and people who know our country was founded on religious freedoms. The churches of Big Timber have given Sweet Grass County High school graduates Bibles every year for graduation. This year, one student and his/her parents objected, and now the high school has decided not to give out the Bibles.
How can one student out of a class of about 50 change the decision without even listening to the other 49 students? It has always been the policy of the school that the student can refuse the Bible or return it after the ceremony.
This is the same percentage that has been ruling our country. This person does not even have the courage to stand up for what he/she believes. It was an anonymous request.
I am deeply disappointed by the superintendent and school board, because they have not had the decency to stand up. I think this is a topic everyone across Montana and the nation should read about as we slowly let the majority of us lose our rights to the small percentages of people who have big mouths and nothing to say. Look at gay marriage, gay adoption, taking God off our money and out of our schools. No pledge of allegiance to honor the people who have fought and died for us. We can't even take a quiet moment of our own school day to thank God for what, where and who we are. Wake up, people.

Good call Sweet Grass School Board!
