Completely agree. I would put Judaism at #3. I'm not sure how to rank Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Shintoism, etc. Buddhism as mentioned earlier is pretty benign.

Christianity has its nutballs that make you scratch your head and also had the Inquisition. Fortunately it has evolved beyond that. I don't know if Islam can evolve like Christianity has done but I also don't think Christ would advocate for genocide as the solution. Helping those in need is generally a good thing but blindly allowing thousands of Syrians and other refugees to migrate without attempting to screen out radicals and having a plan to handle and assimilate the remainder is pretty stupid.

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

the problem with vetting these refugees is that you just can't

when people are applying for visas there are a number of documents and evidence of relationships, etc that they can bring with them- even the most basic identity documents are helpful

in the case of these refugees, many of them literally have nothing. For the legitimate refugees, this is a hindrance for them. For imbedded terrorists, it is their ticket in- no identity, no record, no nothing. The people vetting these cats won't know their real names, nationalities, nothing.

The bottom line is that we accept middle eastern refugees we have to accept the fact that we are admitting the murder monkeys with them. so it really comes down to a choice: does our humanitarian spirit trump our desire for absolute safety, or vice versa?

If I have to dig deep down for "humanitarian spirit", it would have to start with something like this:
First cutoff line is we should not accept single males over 17.
All others will be living under a code of conduct that would provide severe, and appropriate, punishment to their families (wife, children, parents, etc.) if they do anything wrong. This is for the hope that the families will self police/report. Yes, this would be a different standard than other American residents, but fuck 'em. Tell them take it or leave it.

If you want to dominate the planet you're simply going to have to accept that billions of people are going to wish ill upon you, so absolute safety is probably out of the question. I think American civilians should be proud to risk their lives for the noble goals of our best and brightest CEOs. A little bit of collateral damage comes with the territory. What I'm not looking forward to is when everybody has their own drones.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

oh yes that will totally be what we'll do

the constitution for me but not for thee

if they make it to American soil the game is up- thats why I say - we have to decide what is more important

safety or compassion

Christianity is #2 at what? Not coming at you, just trying to corral this generalized discussion that Christianity is #2. Are we talking overall? Do we not count the hospitals, charity, bodies and all the other positive items that Christianity gives us on the daily basis, or are we just talking the bad stuff.

in a word?

intolerance

and like I said, there's a LOT of daylight between the two, but almost all religions have at their core an element of "my way is right and yours is wrong"

Even benign proselytizing is acting on this core religious tenet - since Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism and others dont have a major evangelical mandate, Islam and Christianity will naturally be #1 and #2 in terms of intolerance to other religions

He's just playing dumb CID
Any dimwitted halfhearted study of world history clears things up pretty quickly
a thousand plus years of global violent intolerance - he's looking to sweep that under the Islam rug

Islam provides excellent cover for Christian NUTS

at this point I'm good with the safety keys being turned and the cover being taking off of "the button" and a finger hovering above it.

There are interviews where these people say that their grandchildren will swim in the blood of non Muslims.

They have 8 or 9 kids per family. Europe and America average less than 2. They are simply going to over run by reproduction

This might be the wake up call needed for much of Europe to change their tunes.

Thankfully we have two huge bodies of water to protect us, mostly, and Russia as the country protecting the only place North America and them.

Who/where are we threatening to nuke?

Will we have some sort of "the Button" webcam set up in the oval office to prove we mean business?

Meanwhile, France's bombings are largely symbolic. Tell me, how do you propose defeating a religious ideology?
