I've looked at polls back through the Nixon/Humphrey Presidential election and there's only been one Democrat who has ever won the majority of the vote among White women since then. Do you know who it was?

It was Bill Clinton. And he won it both times. Trump is making a mistake if he thinks he's going to gain ground in the general electorate by going after Bill Clinton.

It becomes clearer and clearer every day that Trump, a big friend of the Clintons (especially Bill), is working for them. He's not even trying to make his faux opposition believable anymore. The whole goal is to make a laughing stock of the Republican party; not that it needed much help.

My wife is not "pro-establishment" at all. She's more "Tea Party" oriented. And when it comes to Trump she has told me that she thinks that if he gets the Republican nomination I should vote for him. And I have told her "no way I can vote for that guy."

I think Bush would have a good chance in the general election, but that train seems nearly done for. Unfortunately for him, it looks like he's too center-right to make it out of his party's primary. Personally, judging him as an individual unassociated with his brother, he formulates and articulates thoughts better than most Republican and Democratic candidates, with a decent governing history to boot. I think he'd appeal to moderates if he gets the chance to make a case on the national stage, but again, it doesn't seem like he'll get there.

No. If it really came down to that as horrible as it would be I would have to vote for Hillary. Just like if you told me that it was SO close and I was in a State that was like Florida was in the Bush Gore election and MY vote was going to decide who is going to be President I'd have to vote for Hillary. THAT'S how bad Trump is. He's totally unqualified and he has no core values at all. He's just an ego that can now see he's doing well.

And let me tell you: It has to be pretty bad for me to say I'd vote for HIllary under ANY circumstances. But at least with Hillary we would have a rational person in the office.

But the reality is the State I live in probably won't be close so I can just vote for some third Party candidate or not vote at all.
