(Freak out alert: It's Mother Jones but the numbers come from a variety of polling sources including Gallup and PPP, are not new, and have been mentioned for years....so blow me!)
Holy targeting and cherrypicking Batman.
Looking at the links in that "article", the fine print was interesting.
"In a poll conducted for MoveOn.org"...or " for The Center of American Progress"...or "a poll conducted by Hart Research Associates"...or "the American Sustainable Business Council".
Far left-wing mouth breathers polling far left-wing knuckle draggers.
I would love to see the internals and demographic breakdown of these...ahem..."polls", but of course, that information isn't available. Shocking...
Another klamfail.

Freak out is successful!

Like I said there were a few biased ones but also some legit, and if you clicked on a couple of the links, the poll breakdowns ARE available.
Regardless, do you think a majority of Americans:
Are opposed to raising taxes on Wall Street and the wealthy?
Believe we should maintain or increase our military spending and engagement?
Cut SS and Medicare?
Support for-profit health insurance?
Support the War on Drugs?
Are opposed to gay marriage?
Are opposed to campaign finance reform?
Are opposed to some form of government provided higher education?
Believe we need less regulation of healthcare, food safety, finance?
I can add to the list if you'd like, but face it...Americans are far more progressive than you think or how they even vote.
Me and Uncle Houndy...TOTALLY representing the middle!
