I haven't been out to breakfast other than a McDonald's or a place down the shore (we do Brown's or Ovis in OCNJ) in years. Must've been back when there were a lot more Denny's than there are now.

I do have a whole group of Born Again friends from college. There were intrigued that they could evangelize me. Amazing that I can't be around smokers anymore - I grew up in a house with two smokers, but once leaving there and not smoking myself, it's amazing how hard it is to be around smokers anymore. I'm actually shocked people still smoke, I'm not sure where they find the money.

In other words...not trash TV. Hardly any TV, except science shows (no questions that differentiate between intelligent TV and the crap that passes for prime time or daytime talk shows. And, I only saw Star Wars in the theater.

Smoking? Agree with Gannonfan...who smokes these days? Actually, there is one car in the parking lot of my son's school...puffs of smoke always coming out...and three teenagers are there to pick up on 5th grader. Poor kid...has to sit next to the three idiots who smell like an ash tray. Fun.

Now, if I had taken the poll years ago, as in many years ago, a couple of those restaurants would have been checked. I did take a looooooooong bus trip once...when I was 18, to Notre Dame. Took several when I worked for a ski tour/travel company a loooooooooooooong time ago. That question did not have an expiration date...and that probably saved me from a worse score.

I have, however, grown up poor and hardworking, first in my family to go to college, served honorably, worked on a factory floor and ached and choose to remain living rural with common folks.

5. It might not be 3 but it will be at least one. TBH have a plan in place to make that happen by 2020. Who knows, I'd have 13 more years to get two more business ventures going.

That would put me at 43 with my own business and money to move my kids into a better life than I've had, and the ability to travel to Europe/Asia/South America if I wanted.

In NY, we have what's called a Farm Distillery license. With that license comes an extra perk that allows us to open a Branch Location where we can sell, just can't do production/distilling (nor would we since distilling equipment is expensive). Also in NY, we are allowed to serve and sell any NY farm-based product....beer, wine, cider or spirits. Besides our spirits that we sell by the bottle and in cocktails, we also sell over 50 different brands of spirits, 12 beers, 6 ciders and 10 wines. We make bank on beer, wine and cider

We have indoor seating for 90, up to 150 once we finish building out the upstairs (dragging our feet with this though), and we've only just begun to move outside onto the 26 acres we have at farm #2. Currently working on the permit to build an outdoor bar and music stage there.

So when TBH and I open our business, and we both start our "side project specialties" off that main business does that count as 2 other business ventures as well? If so, I truly am closer to you than you'd think

I didn't grow up poor, but we struggled. One summer it was bad and the food we ate was mostly from what ever fish and/or crabs we had caught that afternoon. When I got to HS, my parents started making more money. I work hard, spent summers doing back breaking work in college. I never worked at a factory but I do logistic work after college that wore me out every day. I enjoy certain TV shows, only at night and don't watch many movies. I enjoy the outdoors too much...and beer. I enjoy drinking outside.
