Biggest Discrepancy In Conference Facilities
Re: Biggest Discrepancy In Conference Facilities
In ours it's Liberty (best) vs Charleston Southern (worst). Libertys rivals many FBS schools. CSUs...aren't as good as most big high schools.
And....CSU is conference champion. Go figure.

It's really not though. It's 19k but it's the most unimpressive 19k you'll ever see! Smh. GO BIG or go home.

They need to scrap those seats past the Endzone, lower the field, then build seats closer to the action. Venues like these always have poor attendance.

The MAC was still a great venue. All I'm saying is it's almost ALWAYS better to expand and/or renovate than start anew.
((By the way SDSU & SIU, McAndrew Stadium capacity = 17k, Saluki Stadium = 15k)) You should've taken the Montana state route.

Everyone of those seats has been filled, if you look at the video that body of water is the Mississippi River if we lower the field when the river rises the stadium would fill with water. Poor attendance? There might be two teams currently in FCS that have finished #1 in attendance more times than SouthernBlackFalkin wrote:GAD_SU wrote:Finished product at Southern U

What does McAndrew Stadium have to do with SDSU?BlackFalkin wrote:

Also, you're arguing that a stadium with a track is better than one without one. I'm sorry, but you just lost any argument you've ever made about stadiums by doing that.

NAU unveiled new $47 Million Student-Athlete facility
https://www.athleticbusiness.com/facili ... nce-center
A large portion of the new center is the 11,500-square-foot Jennifer Marie Wilson Strength and Conditioning Center, which includes warm-up turf, plyometric space and 21 Sorinex weight rack stations.
A one-of-a-kind lab space — the Sims-Treharne Collaborative Research Lab — is a collaboration between NAU Athletics and the Health and Human Services Department that allows for real time research between faculty, students and student-athletes.

Well done. If NAU can get some decent coaching and recruits, we could see NAU snatch a few Big Sky titles.

SDSU’s looks much better because of the larger capacity & press box, but Dykhouse stadium built the main grandstand with different materials and created a better overall look. Something that looks good and new, it also doesn’t look like the rest of the seating around the field; generic and cookie cutter.
Yes, renovating McAndrew would’ve been the better route, instead of building a Generic FCS Stadium. Notice anything these two have in common? They’re generic cookie cutters with little history or character.Thumper 76 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2016 6:11 amWhat does McAndrew Stadium have to do with SDSU?BlackFalkin wrote:

Re: Biggest Discrepancy In Conference Facilities
Here’s another example, UC Davis’ still new stadium is nice, and is perfectly sized for FCS football. It was desperately needed, and they nailed the end zone grass berm, which almost looks like end zone seating at packed games, Davis did a great job, but……….
The original architecture, design, and history is completely lost by choosing that cookie cutter stadium style.
