It probably IS nothing in the real context. But it's very easy when you're going through thousands of e mails to find a few bits of language that create bad impressions. It's like the two e mails Judicial Watch put out. Two e mails and, really, the flurry over each is pretty much a bunch of ado about nothing. But there is much ado.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Donald Trump said in an interview Thursday that he would support trying US citizens suspected of terrorism in military tribunals -- a controversial proposal that would likely be challenged as unconstitutional.

The Republican presidential nominee told the Miami Herald that he doesn't "at all" like the idea of trying terrorist suspects in the civilian court system, even though US citizens are constitutionally entitled to due process. He added that he would be "fine" with trying US citizens in military tribunals at Guantánamo Bay, the US naval base that is also home to a military prison housing captured terror suspects.

Haven't seen a single Trump TV ad yet. He's still relying on the "free media" that has turned on him with a vengeance.

The only bad publicity is no publicity.

Now he can play the "mainstream media is corrupt" card. Which is a widely held belief on both sides of the aisle.

I read that they are just now getting costs in battleground states.

It's certainly unconventional, but have you noticed, you don't see a lot of Hillary in the news either, unless she's talking about Trump? It doesn't seem like it's working now (because it isn't) but if he keeps taking all the air from the room who knows how this will play out later in the election cycle. Nobody, me included, gave him a chance to last more than a month once he announced he was running, but, buffoonery and all, he's still here more than a year later.

Everyone rails on Trump about not being able to substantiate his policy positions, but you would be hard pressed to accurate define Hillary's at this point either. Usually one side will take a firm stand on an issue that will inevitably piss off a sizable contingent of voters (Hillary in West Virginia) and then the other will move quickly to embrace the opposite. But with Trump its a total crapshoot.

He used the free media from his controversial comments last summer and fall to great effect......

... But, he was playing to the Republican base to win the Republican primary.

Now, he is trying to win swing voters in swing states.... and, though he needs to moderate and start seeming preaidential.... He can't help stepping on his dick. He gave a serious speech last week on the economy... And... has completely killed anything positive from it immediately afterward.

I don't know who this guy on CNN is who is questioning the Arkansas Attorney General but I am loving it. She keeps trying to change the subject when he asks her questions and he keeps saying stuff along the lines of saying that's not what he's asking about. Keeps asking her to answer the question instead of trying to change the subject. This is great.

This guy ought to be on all the time. He really does create a situation where the person being interviewed is called on it when they try to change the subject instead of answering the fricking question.

You do realize, right, that she attempted to craft a universal health care program and ended up settling for getting the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) right? And you do realize that she got out of Yale Law School and, instead of going for being in a highly profitable law firm, opted to work for the Children's Defense Fund, right?

Look, I do not agree with Clinton's world view. But to fail to recognize her Liberal inclinations is kind of ridiculous given her history. She has always been all in on having pseudo socialist programs and redistribution of income.

What a turd. The RealClearPolitics polling average has him down 9.2 percentage points in Pennsylvania and he's demagoguing about how if he loses that State it means somebody cheated.

This guy is beyond the pale. You people who support him need to repent.

Yes. And she's on the record for being pro democracy and world peace as America is currently sending more military aid to Saudi Arabia to bomb the fucking peace into those Yemenis!

I am seeing the media start to question whether Trump is even really under IRS audit. That's interesting. I didn't think about it until I started seeing this stuff but the guy does lie just about every time he opens his mouth. What's apparently happening is that he's been asked to produce an IRS letter or something saying he's under audit and he hasn't done it. He's produce letters from his attorney that do not use the term "audit."

Here is an example:

http://www.newsweek.com/where-trump-irs ... ter-488904

He could very easily just produce a letter from the IRS. But he either can not or will not do it. I think the media should start pounding on this. I think they should repeatedly ask him to produce an IRS correspondence saying he's under audit. Shouldn't be difficult for him to do if he's telling the truth.

Either way I think the real truth is he knows if he releases his tax returns it's going to cause issues for him. This crap of saying he can't do it because he's under audit is just that: crap. Nixon did it when he was under audit and running for President.
