3 National parks is more than 43 states. SC has 1 national park, Congaree. There are 59 national parks. (This list by state show 58- think the one in DE makes 59.)..The most any state has is CA with 8. AK has 7, Ut has 5. 36 states have none.

According to the National Park Service, we have 6. A few other sites say 7. Some say 8. Either way. I'm closer to being correct with my 10 than you are with your 1. There are quite a few properties owned and managed by the NPS. I must've included a couple of State Parks like Colonial Dorchester.

Wrong.

We aren't talking NPS sites but 'national parks'. You initially said "10 national parks". The NPS might manage 6, 7, or 8 sites in SC, but the link only shows 2 with "park" in the names, and only 1 of the defined 59 national parks.
The NPS has at least 388 sites but only 59 defined as "national parks".
The following names among the close to 400 sites:
-National parks
-National monuments
-National preserves
-National reserves
-National seashores
-National rivers
-Wild and scenic riverways
-National historic site
-National military park
-National battlefield park
-National battlefield site
-National battlefield
-National historical park
-National memorial
-National recreation area
-National parkway

At a couple of the national park visitor centers I have seen listing of all 58/now 59 national parks so you can see how many you have been to. I count having been to 34 of the 59, but haven't been to the one in SC, Congaree.
