Did I say it was good legislation? You act as if votes don't go down party lines often. WTF?Chizzang wrote:Okay...

We need a smug prick emoji because I'd be sporting it right about now...Chizzang wrote:Okay...89Hen wrote: They orchestrated it themselves. YOU posted, "find the democrat"... we found them, on the same list. You were just too lazy to actually read the article and maybe click one or two more levels down to see they accepted the same money. The fact that they voted against doesn't mean they have higher standards. Just find an issue where Dems all voted yea on a measure and I'm sure you could do this just in reverse. I do not apologize for the R's or the D's, just pointing out that the money had nothing to do with this. If the R's had received a bunch of money that the D's didn't, you might have a point. But that's not the case.

Party lines are real
and key examples would be
1) Gun legislation
2) Abortion rights
3) Union
And every time those party lines are voted on
it's because its seen as good legislation (both for and against)
If everybody in one party voted one way
There's got to be a reason
it's seen as good legislation
or something else
You already said it not good legislation
what is the other reason an ENTIRE PARTY would vote one way..?
You're saying this is common
Give me an example where
an entire party voted unanimously for legislation they didn't agree with

But there are a few honest brokers too-
Like Bernie Sanders on gun control
Or former Sen James Webb on pretty much everything

Interesting fellow - could find some traction when time comes to clean up after this miserable failure.
