If it were true Liberals would likely contribute MORE to Charity than Conservatives
Most studies (excluding cherry picked) it's about the same across the board
All people want to help people
Define Charity. Contributing $500 to Pat Robertson may meet the official IRS definition, but it is not charity.
Also, charity is far more that $$ given. Voting, etc to affect permanent change is more charitable that writing a check to get the tax deduction.
