I could agree with most of that. Certainly on the NFC part.Chizzang wrote:Both home teams in the NFC win93henfan wrote:

I think KC can win though.
Also, Bills are fucked if the Shady McCoy injury is bad.

Well we’re(Carolina) screwed.93henfan wrote:

to never accomplish anything
Except a few divisional wins
and some touchdown dances...
Newton is this generations Brian Bozworth
Wasn't that game for home field advantage for Carolina..?

I would be shocked if the Titans pull out the win. Right now the home teams all look better.93henfan wrote:I could agree with most of that. Certainly on the NFC part.Chizzang wrote:

If you're a gambling on the NFL kind of guy...Vidav wrote:I would be shocked if the Titans pull out the win. Right now the home teams all look better.93henfan wrote:

Who said anything about gambling? You might have a problem.Chizzang wrote:If you're a gambling on the NFL kind of guy...Vidav wrote:

You look for the over valued home team and the under valued opponent
Right now the Chiefs are favored by 7.5 to 9.0 depending on where you're betting
The chiefs average margin of victory is 4.75 points
I would place a bet on the Titans to cover that 9 point spread
Here's the money bet for that game
44.5 points (Take the under)
Chiefs favored by 8 or 9 (Take the Titans to cover)
$100 on that gets you $550 back

I've got a lot of problems but gambling isn't one of them...Grizalltheway wrote:Who said anything about gambling? You might have a problem.Chizzang wrote:

Pack gets pick #14, stand by for new DC (Thanks Santa) and now a new GM to boot!!!!VictorG wrote:Playing for draft picks now. I hope they can draft a new D/C!!!!! I'm sick of the Packers defense sucking year after year!!!!93henfan wrote:Rodgers has been shut down for the year (IR).

Still have Rodgers leading them to the playoffs next year, if he doesn't get hurt.VictorG wrote:Pack gets pick #14, stand by for new DC (Thanks Santa) and now a new GM to boot!!!!VictorG wrote:

Which is true, there is a tremendous amount of parity in the NFL. That's why it's so easy for a team, in the span of 1-3 years, can turn things around and go from being a doormat to being a Super Bowl contender. That's just what makes the Cleveland Browns so perplexing - how can a team be that bad that consistently? It belies all statistics and other metrics.Chizzang wrote:I just read an NFL article saying the Titans don't have a chance...
"Titans don't stand a chance against the Chiefs"
This is the kind of thing you hear all the time in the NFL and it's just not true
Yes the Chiefs at home should be favored (true)
But:
We just watched Baltimore lose at home in a must win game
and it happens all the time (Carolina tanked, Jacksonville tanked)
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/afc- ... he-chiefs/
I find it interesting how many people that professionally review the NFL
have no understanding how closely matched the bulk of all NFL teams are
as 89hen pointed out in another thread
There are a few elite teams
and then everybody else is pretty tightly matched
and even when those elite teams play bad teams they often don't win by much

Cohen accumulated 1,578 total yds 4th most in Bears history since 1950 by a Bears rookie.Mvemjsunpx wrote:Also… former NC A&T star Tarik Cohen had 113 total yards and receiving TD for da Bears. He averaged 13.2 yards-per-carry.

Mike McCarthy might be next on the chopping block.Chizzang wrote:Green Bay is now going through an interesting transition...
The Ted Thompson era is now over and could be considered "not particularly successful" of a run
considering he had the NFL's best quarterback for 8 years running
This will be fascinating to see... Will they go get some free agents..?
