So almost half of the killings assigned to extremist-related killings are from the Parkland school shooting? Granted, the kid apparently had extremist things to say, but the report out of Parkland after the shooting pointed to a heckuva lot of missteps along that way that ultimately led to a severely mentally ill person not being properly handled by the system. Calling that kid a right-wing extremist is a bit of a reach, IMO, and serves to score a political point rather than get at the heart of the matter in that case, i.e. a kid screaming for help for several years and not getting it.

What was immediately obvious to me, but apparently not to you was the statistics cited in the article refer only to terrorist acts. Violence in not necessarily terrorism. The vast majority of violence is not related to terrorism.

Did you look at BI’s source article from the ADL?

There’s some mitigating factors in there that BI omitted. Plus, they are categorizing “incels” as a right wing extremist movement.

The ADL does draw some of the sane conclusions, but with caveats the BI article completely leaves out

Obviously this is becoming a huge problem under Trump who actively encourages these types of people to carry out violence against his political enemies......what he calls "enemies of the people".

I don't ever recall a United States President encouraging this type of activity against fellow Americans.

And my comment, ironically, was within a post challenging MJ’s leftist assertion regarding political violence and providing facts to back it up...which is pretty much what you were asking of me.

Besides where do you draw a line between political violence and terrorism? Hence why I suggested a few posts ago that you should do a better job at reading for context.

Aside from all of that...you either understood the context and was parsing out one comment within it to start another debate (in which case my words were precise enough) or you didn’t.
