No...you asked for info to back it up which I provided and then, anticipating you attacking the messenger, invited you to provide your own. Of course you read right past that and...wait for it...attacked the messenger.

Here...let’s try this again:

A new report shows all the extremist killings in 2018 had links to right-wing extremism.
The report's findings are consistent with other fairly recent studies on extremism in the US, which have shown right-wing extremism and violence are on the rise.
There were at least 50 extremist-related killings in 2018, according to the report, making it the fourth-deadliest year on record for domestic extremist-related killings since 1970.
Every extremist killing in the US in 2018 had a link to a right-wing extremism, according to a new report from the Anti-Defamation League's Center on Extremism.

The report zeroes in on incidents such as the high school shooting in Parkland, Florida, in February 2018, and the mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in October 2018.

There were at least 50 extremist-related killings in the US in 2018, according to the report, making it the fourth-deadliest year on record for domestic extremist-related killings since 1970.

It’s the ADLC with a link to a NYT article so please feel free to provide a link to other statistics refuting it.

So almost half of the killings assigned to extremist-related killings are from the Parkland school shooting? Granted, the kid apparently had extremist things to say, but the report out of Parkland after the shooting pointed to a heckuva lot of missteps along that way that ultimately led to a severely mentally ill person not being properly handled by the system. Calling that kid a right-wing extremist is a bit of a reach, IMO, and serves to score a political point rather than get at the heart of the matter in that case, i.e. a kid screaming for help for several years and not getting it.

Did you look at BI’s source article from the ADL?

There’s some mitigating factors in there that BI omitted. Plus, they are categorizing “incels” as a right wing extremist movement.

The ADL does draw some of the sane conclusions, but with caveats the BI article completely leaves out

Prosecutors say an elderly man was assaulted inside a New Jersey supermarket after he was confronted over a “Make America Great Again” hat he was wearing.

Somerset County Prosecutor Michael Robertson says the 81-year-old Franklin Township man was shopping at the Shop Rite on Elizabeth Avenue Monday afternoon when he was approached regarding his red cap.

The victim was assaulted and sustained minor injuries, according to prosecutors. He declined medical attention at the scene.

With claims that sound suspiciously similar to a recent incident at a Home Depot in Kansas, jailed Coast Guard Lt. Christopher Hasson now claims “plotting domestic terrorism” is how he describes going to the bathroom, sources confirmed today.

“Lieutenant Hasson’s arrest is system overreach of the highest order,” Hasson’s lawyer, Julie Stelzig, said. “My client is guilty of having a penchant for spicy Thai food, a leaky b-hole, and a creative vocabulary, nothing else.”
https://www.duffelblog.com/2019/02/jail ... 6b6288eb26

The initial defense of the 49 year old Marine turned Coast Guardsman is similar to a recent defense used in Kansas...
While authorities remain skeptical, Hasson’s team is attempting to sway the public by going directly to the media. White power, mass murder of innocent civilians, and neo-Nazism are diarrhea ideologies and should therefore be considered acceptable euphemisms for having diarrhea, his team emphasized in a press statement.

It seems you share with AOC the same aversion to and disdain for precise language.
And my comment, ironically, was within a post challenging MJ’s leftist assertion regarding political violence and providing facts to back it up...which is pretty much what you were asking of me.

Besides where do you draw a line between political violence and terrorism? Hence why I suggested a few posts ago that you should do a better job at reading for context. :)

Aside from all of that...you either understood the context and was parsing out one comment within it to start another debate (in which case my words were precise enough) or you didn’t.

But please keep flailing...its fun to watch. Also feel free to reference your own evidence as suggested to you a couple of times. :thumb:
