Italy, 7300+ cases, 366 deaths
S Korea 7400+ cases, 51 deaths
France: 1200+ cases, 19 deaths.
Germany 1100+ cases 0 deaths.
Spain 673 cases, 17 deaths.
US 582 cases, 22 deaths.
Japan 500+ cases, 7 deaths

What are the Krauts doing that others aren’t?
They now have 2.

 :notworthy: I can't take the flu shot so i'll just rely on group immunity and whisky.

Speaking of...what are you drinking these days? I'm still loving rye whisky.
I try to keep one premium bourbon and one cheaper brand on hand at all times. I also support local Delmarva breweries, especially Third Wave and Mispillion.
:thumb: :thumb:
I have Sippin' Whisky and Sharin' Whisky. Sippin' Whisky might be Bulleit Rye, Monkey Shoulder, or whatever premium whisky/bourbon/scotch I have at the moment.

Sharin' Whisky is Jack Daniels, Jim Beam or Jameson.

There are a few good NC whiskys. Conviction is distilled in an old prison. It's fairly new so you don't have anything aged.
Defiant is really good, distilled in the Blue Ridge. It's all single malt.

Have bourbon, ammo, dried food and a clear field of fire from my house. Coronavirus zombies stay away.

Just curious if anyone has tried the George Dickel Bottled in Bond Whisky. I haven’t been able to get any yet. Wasn’t sure if it would be sharing or sipping whiskey.

I’d imagine it’s sipping whisky. A dram for a friend is always ok. But you don’t waste it on anyone. I consider Basil Hayden to be sharing whisky but my brother disagrees.

Update:

Nashville Tornadoes - 22
Corona Viruses - 9
7:16 left in 3rd Quarter

Viruses get a FG to close the gap to a 2- score game
Boom! Nashville gets a safety after a great punt by their punter, Twister McGee pins the Viruses on the 2 yard line.
And the Viruses return the favor, after the Nashville QB, who goes by the odd name of F5, is called for intentional grounding from the end zone...
Two safeties in a ROW! What a rarity! This game is one for the ages...

Nashville Tornadoes - 24
Corona Viruses - 11

8:52 left in 4th quarter
The game has REALLY tightened up as we approach the 2 minute warning. The Viruses have rattled off 11 straight points, getting a long breakaway TD from Keith SARS, followed by a 2-point conversion. They held the Tornadoes to a 3-and-out, then settled for a FG by Ebola Jones and have closed what once seemed like an insurmountable lead to just 2 points:

Corona Viruses - 22

2:13 left in 4th quarter

NPR posting on the flu...

https://www.npr.org/sections/health-sho ... delers-say
"So far this season we've had between 30 and 40 million illnesses in the United States," Martin says.
The CDC estimates that there have been 20,000 to 40,000 deaths in the United States so far this year.

Just for comparison, that's a thousand times more deaths in the United States than have been blamed on the coronavirus so far.
Probably should start thinking about not having schools closed between November and April every year and moving all sporting events and large gatherings outside of those windows as well. Should think about the year starting in April, then they can push back New Year's Eve to a time less likely to get people sick. Just to be safe. :coffee:

It's OK Gannon.....the market will go up again eventually. ;) Just look at this as an opportunity.....unless you believed in Trump's overinflated #FakeStockMarket and were "all in". :(

Or alternative...

...have people actually take the flu shot (unless you can't). Those that refuse and anti-vaxxers can be exempt from society.

Add in MMR and any vaccines we come up with for Covid-19.

I'm all in favor of required vaccinations. Flu included. They don't always work, last year's (2018-19) flu vaccine wasn't aligned well with the flu strain that was predominate and the number of people who died were almost double (close to 80,000 in the US alone). But I have no problem squaring liberty with required vaccinations where applicable.
