I like seeing the horizon and love the shrub-steppe and deserts of E Wa. I also feel at home in the high prairies of Montana and the Dakotas. The wife grew up in desert and prefers the trees and mountains.CID1990 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 12, 2020 8:37 pmI have never found reason to dislike any state I have visited. They all have something to offer, though I am particular to states with mountains (I grew up in the forested rolling hills and it is comforting to not be able to see from horizon to horizon... regardless of what those uncouth Neanderthal Big Sky people sayChizzang wrote: ↑Sun Apr 12, 2020 5:54 pm
Meh...
I travel a lot for my job and am constantly amazed at how wonderful this country is from point to point
people that don't understand that should get out more
Mostly I hear how awful California and Texas are from people that have some kind of political stance
Truth be told they are both amazing states and it's my pleasure every time I get to go to either
and that is quite often
