Here's the text of his speech. Exactly what in that text is facist?JohnStOnge wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 4:20 pmThat WAS pretty fascist. I'll admit that I myself am at times sympathetic to that type of approach. But I don't think that's going to help him re-election wise. If the social justice movement turnout in general and the Black turnout in particular is high he will lose. He'd have lost last time if Black turnout hadn't been down. He's like doing all he can to ensure that social justice people in general and Black voters in particular are going to be fired up to turn out and vote against him.
And, no, it's not going to help him with White suburban women.

They were violating a 6 PM curfew order and had refused to disperse.

Tear gas is supposed to be used to disperse crowds. Hurling it into a trapped crowd THAT CAN'T MOVE doesn't accomplish anything except extrajudicial punishment.

The left is a huge pile of shit and they need to be ignored or buried.
They had the ability to go home on time and squandered it. They had a chance to move out of the road after the fact and didn't. They had somewhere to go all day and chose not to. It's their choices that led to them piled against a fence later in the day. Adults understand they need to make choices to avoid bad situations.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 6:36 pm They're cornered against a wall and have nowhere to go.![]()
Tear gas is employed for crowd control and this crowd looks pretty controlled to me. And they didn't throw it INTO the crowd, but around it.
Yes it certainly is. They put themselves in that position, didn't they?Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 6:36 pmHurling it into a trapped crowd THAT CAN'T MOVE doesn't accomplish anything except extrajudicial punishment.
Today Deblasio finally acknowledges the need for a curfew, yet its only 11 PM, while most other big cities are 6-7 PM. And the NYPD is too undermanned to stop the ongoing, widespread looting. Still no call for the Nat Guard by Deblasio. Now he's finally acknowledged that they need an earlier curfew, and says tomorrow's will be 8 PM. Too little, 3-4 days too late..BDKJMU wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 12:25 pm Not from the Onion or Babylon Bee:

In NYC violence and looting out of control for the last 2 nights, dozens of police injured, hundreds arrested, Deblasio we don’t need the Nat Guard or a curfew, and now this.Like I said with previous post on Deblasio, you can’t make this shit up.
