ASSU can have him. There is a reason he is a former Wolverine that was kicked off the team. He is in some real deep shit up in Michigan right now.ASUMountaineer wrote:ESPN is now reporting that ASU has said he will not be enrolling or joining the team. It seems he was dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules, which most Michigan folks attribute to him speaking out against RRod during the season. He appears to be one helluva runner, but we've already got 6 QBs on the roster, so he'd likely have to play receiver (which he did at UM). Of course, a kid can say he's going anywhere, but I've not heard anything official saying he is actually enrolling, and he wasn't in the system over the summer.

Well played Andy. Those fvcking inbred yokels from Sticksville need their comeuppance. Oh wait, that's right, they got it last year when UR handed them their a$$es tied with a bow in Boone. Fvck 'em if they can't take a joke. An inability to perform the task (lawn maintenance) that is your major from which you will be graduating early from (with honors I'm sure) only confirms what has been suspected about them hillbillies.andy7171 wrote:After 2 NCs wait THREE, you'd think a douchebag from Towson wouldn't be able to cause so much trouble.ASUG8 wrote:

The stitches are out and healing is progressing at a quicker than expected rate. That sound you just heard was a collective sigh of relief from the Appalachian mountains.

According to GoASU.com, Edwards threw for the first time since the injury today. He threw for approximately 10 minutes with backup Deandre Presley while the remainder of the team worked on special teams. Excellent news for Mountaineer fans!

No doubt man. An injury to such a dynamic and prolific guy like that can be devastating so I'm glad you guys are gonna be full strength with him back in the line up.BeauFoster wrote:According to GoASU.com, Edwards threw for the first time since the injury today. Re: Uh OH Armanti hurt and out for a few weeks
I don't think he was necessarily saying bench him no matter what, but was pointing out that if he isn't 100% healed and 100% "practiced up", that he shouldn't play. At least that's the part I agreed with, anyway. If he's got his timing down with the receivers and there's no chance of opening the cut back up, send him in. Otherwise, give him another week of practice and let him take out all his frustrations out on the Cowboys in week 2, Wofford style. I'm of the opinion that no matter what we do against ECU, it doesn't mean a hill of beans come playoff time. We proved that in 2007 when we beat UM and then lost 2 conference games and had to get the stars to align with McNeese losing to get 3 home games. A healthy AE for the entire season, minus ECU is much more important (to me) than a healthy half in Greenville, followed by 4 weeks re-healing.Mountaineer wrote:You should see the 53 post shit storm that got started by B&G Express saying the coaches should bench Armanti for the ECU game.Ursus A. Give 'em Hell, APPS!
Re: Uh OH Armanti hurt and out for a few weeks
Gotta go with Beau on this one. As much as I'd like to destroy the folks from the inferior Greenville, it's not worth jeopardizing the season. Additionally, we've got to look to the future a bit in developing Pressley and Cadet - I hope we can open up some big leads this season to allow these guys to gain some confidence and take us to the next era in ASU football in '10. AE will get his snaps this season - heck, with the progress reports on Pressley/Cadet I've read we may give them a good game without AE - that plus being at full strength at RB should give us plenty of offensive weapons going forward.
