Not to mention big government knows more than parents do regarding their child’s health.
Glad you agree then that govt has no say any aspects of a child’s health care or treatment, to include vaccines, or how a parent chooses to disipline.
I’m not the - I can do whatever I want ain’t no gov’mint tellin’ me what do - guy. I live in a community.

It’s situational. nobody has been forced to take vaccines. There just might be consequences for choosing not to.

He's projecting.

Maybe you should dig up some of BDKKKaren's pandemic posts about the vaccine and possible government intervention/mandates. I wonder how consistent they would be with his position on gender care.

From "the government has no right getting involved in people's/families' healthcare decisions!" to "except when I don't agree with what people/families are doing and then the government should dictate what healthcare decisions they can and can't make."

Jonestown like community? Do you mean the one where absolute loyalty to the "party leader" is required? Where anyone who isn't loyal is called a RINO?

No, the Jonestown reference was more about someone who grows weed in the utopian jungles of Washington state and seems to be allergic to the outside world

No one grows their own weed anymore, silly. There’s a fine little shop 2 miles from my house.

And 3/4’s of Washington is arid shrub-steppe habitat including my area.

The American Taliban strikes again ...

Florida school district pulls dictionaries for ‘sexual conduct’ descriptions
The Escambia county school district, located in Pensacola, Florida, removed several dictionaries and encyclopedias from school libraries after school officials determined that the books violated Florida law HB 1069.
...
District officials also removed copies of The Guinness Book of World Records, and Ripley’s Believe It or Not, a book for children that highlights unusual stories and “hair-raising oddities”, according to the book’s description.
It’s just about protecting the children.

Weird is how Florida A&M is ranked so high in Stats poll after struggling with barely average Howard. Harvard totally dominated Howard but not ranked.

Why?

You do realize that the "jabs" were developed under trump. Fast-tracking their development might have been the only accomplishment of his presidency in 2020.

Of course I realize they were developed under Trump, but he’s not the one who tried to demonize the ones who choose not to take it or proclaim “if you get vaccinated, you won’t catch the virus” …. One of the biggest lies ever told

I too was against the criticism of those who wouldn't take the vaccine. The government (whether woke liberals or zealous conservatives) shouldn't be making healthcare decisions for people and families. That includes Covid vaccines and gender care.

The “if you get vaccinated, you won’t catch the virus” was a mistake not "one of the biggest lies ever told". It was corrected and they stopped saying it once they knew it was wrong. The election was stolen was a much bigger lie, hasn't been corrected, and many gullible fools still believe it.

When the media plays fare, the election was stolen narrative will fade away, but the media leans heavy to port so they have to take part of the blame for what they helped create. And by the way, the insurrection that just wasn’t is a big political rallying cry for the Dems

We're not going to agree on this but here goes ...

The media isn't nearly as impactful as they used to be. MAGAt yahoos get their information from echo chambers that are at least as biased as the MSM (and "at least as" is being extremely generous). Fox is part of the MSM and leans starboard but they're still dismissed by MAGAt yahoos because they aren't loyal enough to trump and don't push all of the tinfoil hat conspiracy theories.

We're 3 years in and the election was stolen narrative is still going strong. Con men continue to push it and gullible marks continue to believe it. That's on the con men and the marks not the media.

Insurrection, sedition, call it what you want but January 6 WAS an attempt to prevent the Constitutional transfer of power. MAGAt yahoos like to focus on instances like the Capitol Police letting protestors enter and pretend that it was peaceful but the property damage, violence and willful disrespect for our government and our nation happened. The rioters attempted to stop the certification of the election and overturn the will of the people. They deserved to be prosecuted and they earned their criminal sentences. They're criminals not hostages.

I really think overstate the whole MAGA yahoos thing. remember, the media needs MAGA yahoos to create a false
narrative for votes and talking points.

Example
Trump 74,000,000 votes

The fake insurrection 1,000 yahoos

If 1 % of Trump voters showed up on January 6th that would be 740,000 people

If 1/10th of 1 % showed up it’s 74,000 people

1/100 th of 1 % is what it was close to

False narrative

False narrative.

Vandalizing and looting isn't "not much". How would trump react if a mob did to Mar-a-lago what the rioters did to the Capitol? Why did people barricade themselves in to prevent the rioters from reaching them? No one knows what would have happened if the rioters had gotten their hands on Pence.

It was a poorly planned and botched attempt to overturn the election. It might not have had a chance of succeeding but the realty that an attempt was made and that trump instigated it is important.

One doesn't play fare, CH, one plays fair - now if you're talking uber its different then one pays fare, not to be confused with buying a bicycle in which case you hope to pay fair, or less if possible. :thumb:

I really think overstate the whole MAGA yahoos thing. remember, the media needs MAGA yahoos to create a false
narrative for votes and talking points.

Example
Trump 74,000,000 votes

The fake insurrection 1,000 yahoos

If 1 % of Trump voters showed up on January 6th that would be 740,000 people

If 1/10th of 1 % showed up it’s 74,000 people

1/100 th of 1 % is what it was close to

False narrative
...so it was the media built the gallows and overdubbed the "Hang Mike Pence" chant. Got it. :thumb:
