Ok, so in 19? post WW II elections with primary contests followed by conventions, there’s never been a candidate forced out after he garnered the most pledged delegates, sealing the nomination.
Not sure what your reference of 19 is.

We haven't really had primaries around the country (even in '68 at least half the country didn't have primaries and didn't assign delegates via that method) until the 70's. Heck, in '68 Humphrey didn't even appear on most ballots in the states that did have primaries as he was just focused on collecting delegates from the non-primary states. And we did have that controversy in 2016 where the DNC seemed to be heavily tilted towards Clinton, in terms of how the primary was run, who got debate questions in advance and who didn't, etc, in order to stem support for Sanders.
Donna Brazille openly admitted and apologized for the DNC screwing Bernie.

I thought I saw we went to the current primary system post WWII. So I stand corrected- more like post Vietnam. So change that 19 to 14 and my point remains.
In your defense, a major failing of our school system when it comes to teaching history is that most never get past WWII before the school year is over. Things like the '50's and '60's were entirely omitted back when I was in school (late '70's kindergarten for me). Even now I still don't think we really cover those recent areas of our history very well.

I ended up getting a minor in US History in college and I purposely took a course on America in the 1960's just so I could find out what really happened during that decade since the school system wouldn't tell me. In their defense, the really expensive textbooks they bought in the late '70's/early '80's didn't cover that period and they weren't slated to replace the books for another 5-10 years at that point. The Big Textbook lobby in this country was like the mafia back then.

He’s unequivocally the dumbest president in the modern era. He makes George W. Bush sound like a rocket surgeon.

This is not arguable.

Wrong. That would be Biden. This is not argueble.
Heck, the debate CLEARLY showed who is smarter. Not even close.

More evidence: The 4+ year Biden gaffe and verbal bungle thread. A stuttering, slurring, mumbling fool..

Actually, there's a lot of schools of thought that think stuttering is indicative of higher intelligence, at least on average. May not be true for each and every individual, but it's out there.

If you’re right, it shows that trump is a blooming idiot.

Stuttering is more likely explained by social anxiety or similar than lack of intelligence. Playground bullies who like to pick on people to cover for their own lack of self esteem might disagree with me.

Sure. Iraq, debt, Great Recession vs. economic recovery and infrastructure investment.

History will look far more kindly on Biden than Bush or Trump.
