IIRC Biden wasn’t doing well either. From what I’ve read, it’s wise to give the polling a week or so for greater accuracy.
Its not like she’s an unknown to the gen public. She has been the VP candidate/VP for going on 8 years now.

That's why she's a boat anchor. Going down is nothing new for her. Democrats want her gone so they are throwing her away like a good little token

Watching Trump rally in Charlotte right now. Like last week in Grand Rapids, indoor. Safer obviously. SS doesn’t want him to do outdoor rallies anymore. Benefit is no weather issues. Negative is can limit crowd size.

Wed rally scheduled in St Cloud, MN. 1st time in Maybe in the next couple of months can start with a mix of indoor and outdoor..

I wouldn't let SS tell me where to have a rally. The first one back would have definitely been outside and a big fuck you to any other government workers that want to try and kill me. Be a man

I’d forgotten about Harris being the most liberal senator in the US Senate. A true hardcore leftist, as evidenced by tbe below ad.

And yet the donks may very well lose the popular vote (which really doesn’t matter) because they hitched their wagon 1st to an 81 year old suffering from dementia, and now to a cringe inducing, nails on a chalkboard, patronizing leftist DEI pick in Queen Cackles..

The popular vote margin will be even larger than 2020. :coffee:

I mean even Hillary Clinton beat him by about 3 MILLION votes and she was the the most unpopular politician in the nation when she did it. If he's going to win it will have to be a technicality again.

Well, she said the perception were that ICE and the KKK were using the same tactics and both targeting people because of race and ethnicity. If she didn't want ICE and the KKK to be compared she shouldn't have brought it up in the first place. I don't see what one had to do with the other so it came across as clumsy and unnecessary.

You mean a politician’s questioning was theatrical and performative? Say it ain’t so!

But if IIRC, ICE’s tactics did deserve some heat at the time. (Pun intended). And the witness was dodging her question.

I agree, theatrics are very common in politics, and they can be useful at times as well.

I'm fine with the witness dodging the question - she wanted to get a good, clean soundbite of the guy agreeing that ICE and the KKK were equitable and he didn't want to give it. Just because you're a witness doesn't mean you have to agree to play whatever game the politician is playing.

And yes, some of ICE's tactics did deserve scrutiny. Of course, the entire immigration issue, the much bigger picture, deserves scrutiny but here we are anyway.

I saw her focusing on the tactics of race based fear and intimidation with the KKK as an absurdist example. You don’t really think she was hoping to get him to admit that ICE is the KKK?

Who knows. When your focus is a soundbite to use in the next news cycle you start to lose the bigger picture. Not a great moment for her, but not uncommon at all for most politicians, and pretty minor in the grand scheme of things. Only a bigger thing now considering her role with immigration in the next administration a few years after.

I don't have a problem with Trump not doing the one left he still had planned with Biden. A change of nominee would seem to be a significant enough reason to reschedule. If he doesn't agree to any debate then I think that is a very real story. Still too early to tell, don't jump on that campaign talking point just yet.
