How will doneOLD vote on the Florida abortion ballot measure?

He'll vote for it if he's truly "against some of the more draconian laws passed by GOP led state legislatures." If he votes against then he's just lied about it to pander for votes. :coffee:
That ballot measure might prevent Trump from winning FL by double digits..
Proud deplorable Ultra MAGA fascist NAZI trash clinging to my guns and religion (and whatever else I’ve been labeled by Obama/Clinton/Biden/Harris).

What does that have to do with DONEold allegedly being against "some of the more draconian laws passed by GOP led state legislatures"?

Will he prove it with his actions or were his declarations just empty words?

When Trump gets elected he better start breaking this government apart in a few days or the military needs to remove him and let Vance do it.

Break everything, ruin it for decades

Might have been appropriate to put this in the Biden/Harris Border Bloodbath thread.

We need some Congresscritters to perform native dances on the floor of the House and/or Senate in 2025.

In other news, the much dreaded bomb cyclone has hit the SeattleGriz household and our power is out. I've been preparing for this for years!! Got an insanely big 40v battery powering the wifi for my youngest and already have wood in the fireplace if needed, but probably not as it's pretty warm out (~45).

Will give the local power company about two hours and then I'll bust out the house generator. Unfortunately I was too lazy to fill up all my gas cans and propane, but have at least a days worth of fuel.

Update: Seems it's only our immediate vicinity, which is understandable, as we live near a greenbelt. Was able to fill up our gas cans at the local gas station. Good for about three days now if I run the generator a couple hours to keep the fridges cool and make sure septic pump runs. Have a gas stove downstairs, gas furnace and gas water heater, so pretty solid.

Update II: I'm a real man now. Generator is up and running. Whole house has power.

Everything is better with SeattleGriz

Nope! Not expected back on until Saturday around 8pm...but that might be a under-promise over-deliver sort of statement. Keep everyone from bitching and instead talk about heroics.

Thank you. Living here for the last 18 years has taught me that the power will go out at least 1-2 times a year. This appears as if it will be a four day outage. The fourth one through the years.

Probably one of the biggest factors was my youngest. Change really affects him, so I've really planned for him. He's been happy as a clam. Using my phone as a hotspot, as internet has been down almost as long.

If I could change a couple of things, I'd look at portable power sources (batteries) that could power the fridges when the generator isn't on and then buy an inverter generator with an L14-30R plug in port because they are more quiet and look to be more compact.

I keep those fridges running and we really don't seem to need the 9400 starting/7500 running watts the generator provides. Just recharge the portable power sources while the generator runs and when recharged, turn off the generator and power the fridges. I'll get there.

That ballot measure might prevent Trump from winning FL by double digits..
Oops never mind. Trump won FL by 13.1. Maybe the ballot measure kept him from winning it by 15.

Just think, just a few months ago you had dumbasses on the left think FL was in play. Even one on this board.

NYC is now home to over 58K ‘criminal’ migrants — including more than 1,000 gang members: ICE

“It’s shocking that Democrats have gone so far out of their way to harbor gang members, drug traffickers and other criminals who are in our country illegally,” said Malliotakis, the lone Republican representing the left-leaning Big Apple.

‘Endless sanctioned mass murder by spreadsheet’ is a great line. It’s as wrong as extrajudicial killings (if that ends up being ge case here).

killer was at Starbucks just before he shot him'

What clue does this provide?

For me, it means this was not the usual "hitman" if it even was a hired hit, more likely a family member got triggered (pun intended) as a family member died that had coverage but really didn't

All healthcare, whether our system through insurance companies or other systems in other countries through state managed care, will all rely on deciding what care will be covered or even offered. There will always be people in those systems who will feel like they didn't get the coverage or the care they think they should've gotten. If everyone of those people think gunning down employees of those companies or governments is the answer to this, you'd have multiple incidents like this everyday.
